  2. I saw John Cleese's commencement speech at UCSB in...I wanna say 2004? Best speech ever. I took my daddy on a date to see him perform his so-called "alimony tour" at Spreckles too. Looooove him

  4. @sandybrook, if 1 minute, 14 seconds is too long for you, I have to feel sorry for any of your sexual partners.

  8. Taylor was such a bitch in this interview and just from this clip seems like the worst GN guest ever! All his guests are there to have fun and she was such an uptight cunt bc someone dared to say he doesn't like cats and a legend dared to ask her a question about her beloved cat which Everyone else has been wondering. Now I get why Katy Perry said Taylor is fake. But I do need to see the whole show...

  10. Swift has no sense of humor. How sad.

  11. The absolute only thing I have in common with Taylor Swift - we both have cats named Olivia.

Seriously, Scottish Folds are amazing cats. If you guys haven't read this book you should, it will melt your heart:

The Cat Who Went To Paris

  13. @Kat Watch the whole show. It was a match of 3 strong personalities. I know nothing about Cricket either. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Taylor makes more in a year than the other three combined and I think that was weighing heavily on Clease's mind. He was the one acting bitchy. He was more snippy than witty.

  14. I watched it, as I always do of a Friday night. It wasn't a classic episode but it was entertaining.
I actually think John Cleese was quite taken with ole Swifty. I could hear him say, a few times, how funny she is. (usually while the audience was cheering, so it wasn't very clear.
I don't like her, at all, bup she wasn't too bad on this.

  15. I had the same reaction from watching the snippet. Seems like she does have a sense of humor, it's just more deadpan and understated. She teased him back about his huge cat. I thought it was cute.

  16. Oh, and apparently the full name of Taylor Swift's cat is Olivia Benson, which is the name of Mariska Hargitay's detective character on Law & Order:SVU. Weird!

If you can tell, he was actually serving the lines up to her, for her to give a wicked funny retort back...but nothing.

  22. @Lady: good to know I've got company! My daughter and I love Taylor's songs (and Katy's-- we don't chose sides). Both of us sing badly but energetically along with them during the school commute.
