Geoffrey Holder, the dancer, choreographer, actor, composer, designer and painter who infused his native West Indies on the American cultural scene and was amazing in everything he did, died on Sunday in Manhattan. He was 84.
I fell in love with him the first time I saw him in Live & Let Die. His voice made me shiver in a good way. Heh-heh-heh. The 7Up commercials were like icing on the cake for me. ;-)
Cola nuts, uncola nuts, lol. A great, learned intelligent man with whom you cld have terrific conversations.( I base this on many interviews i read with him.) Rest in peace my friend, and come back and visit us whenever you feel like it.
I looooved his chemistry with Eartha Kitt in the movie Boomerang.

ReplyDeleteHis words stick in my mind as, what I thought, one of the only cat calls(?) that Ive received where I couldn't help but to smile and laugh at.
