Blind Items Revealed

February 13, 2014

This former A+ list mostly movie actress doesn't even really act any longer. She still has a name though and one of the more memorable movie roles of all-time. She has had some very famous relationships too. Oh, and some celebrity offspring. Anyway she discovered this morning that she wasn't given a front row seat to a show and stole a seat in the front row. When she was asked to vacate it by the person who it had been assigned to, our actress said, "I don't think so." The person backed down and our actress sat right in front.

Kim Basinger

  3. And the person who's seat she stole...was their name Alec Baldwin?

  4. She deserves it! Life is good when you are an entitled bitch!

  5. And that would be time to make a scene! Call her an old washed-up has-been and tell her she should be attending to her out of control fame whore daughter instead of stealing seats from others.

  6. If, indeed, it was Rutherford's seat- You go, Kim!
Never let a never-was block your view. Wretched meaningless little guttersnipe.

    1. I love that you used guttersnipe, one of my favorites. :)

    2. Lol. I too wanted to comment on "guttersnipe". @meanie beat me to it.
Still, I'll say it's a cute word for an ugly person.

  7. And why shouldn't she be in the front row its not like she never modeled?.

    1. I feel like it's more about respecting the designer. They send the invites, process the rsvps, and make a seating chart based around the runway and photography. A true professional model/actress would at least ask ahead of time for a front row seat, if she is confident she requires one. Just my opinion, though. :)

  8. Kelly stayed classy at that time.

If you want to tell what kind of person someone is, just look at their kids.

  9. @Shelly She'll. Then Kim must be a real piece of work. (It's not like Alec really raised her)

  10. @ Shelly Good point. But Mama's never been a famewhore, has she? Her unfortunate-looking offspring is the famewhoriest--she must have learned it somewhere.

Anyhow there's certainly a sense of entitlement there.

  11. I would have knocked that bitch out of that chair with my fucking shoe to her damn head.

  12. Kim got her break in HW by posing in Playboy & having her agent send those issues to directors & producers, then call to set up meetings. She then later complained of being a sex symbol. Boo-who.

  13. @MinPinGirl...exactly! I would have slapped the bitch off the chair!

  14. I'm actually wondering which of her roles we would call "ONE of the more memorable." I can think of several.

    1. I'm pretty sure enty is alluding to 9 1/2 Weeks. I have a hard time recalling others but that one is first on most peoples minds.

  15. I'm disappointed to hear this. Kim Basinger is incredibly shy (she was agoraphobic for several years in her 20's I heard) ... so this doesn't really sound to me like something she would do. There's never been a whisper of her acting like a diva ...

  16. Pretty ballsy of her!

  17. I still love her crazy ass.

  18. @texas rose - Oh, well, I thought of her roles in L.A. Confidential (which garnered her Oscar), Wayne's World II (don't judge me), 9 1/2 Weeks, and Blind Date all at the same time. And now that I think about it...Vicki Vale in Batman! I guess I feel like she's had several iconic roles, so it couldn't be narrowed down in my head. *shrug*

  19. @Prunella - I thought of her shyness and agoraphobia, too, and for those reasons I'm not sure I completely believe this. Not that she couldn't still be a diva now, but...still. The diva in her history isn't her, IYKWIM.

  20. I love her too @califblondy

She'll always be Vicki Vale to me

  21. Huh. Well, I've never thought much of her but I certainly think less now.

  22. Anyone who was assigned a seat in the front row must have been a VIP. I have a hard tim believing such a person wouldn't stand up to as has-been like Kim Basinger.

Also, "celebrity offspring"? Ireland is only known for taking selfies. Does that count as a celebrity? Ugh. i guess it does these days.

  23. If you're lucky enough to have Oscar winning, movie goddess Kim Basinger turn up at your show you give her front row seat. End Of.

Can just imagine the reality trash/celebrity offspring she was asked to move for. Good for her.

  24. She looked absolutely gorgeous, and she's 60 years old.

However, protocol is protocol. Nobody has the right to take someone else's assigned seat.

Having said that, I don't think she did.
