ReplyDeleteI've got to go with auntliddy's comment on the original post. Who on earth would want to be Douglas's GF? He's had cancer, Catherine has mental issues, an older son is in jail, his kids w/Catherine (iirc) are special needs in some way, and then you've got Kirk the Lech as a potential FIL?

I think the Douglas/Zeta Jones marriage took a turn for the worst when there was a passport issue at customs and he found out that she'd been lying about her age, even to him.

ReplyDeleteI don't have much more info. I believe when they moved back from the Bahamas to NYC it was because they thought one of the kids needed special ed that wasn't available in the Bahamas. IIRC, they said that - it wasn't gossip.
I think the son Dylan is autistic but don't quote me on that.. but that is what I believe I've heard. . Maybe Michael blames her extended age on the learning difficulty because uninformed and angry people tend to do that. .
DeleteSuge et al- all they ever say is learning disabilites, which is fine, its none of my business. I highly doubt and hope very much he isnt blaming czj for it. He bought far more baggage into the marriage than her.

ReplyDeleteAlso, that CZJ age myth has been debunked in many venues. She has been a public figure since her late teens, and that would be hard to pull of if she had been nine at the time.
I agree, she looked older than her announced age when she first made it in the US, but most of that could be written off to smoking and drinking.
Her age is a matter of public record. The vicious British press would have shredded her if she'd lied about it. I thought only Dataloungers still believed this urban legend.

I'm not surprised Dylan has problems. Remember all the pics of CZJ smoking and drinking while prego? I seriously doubt she was following doctor's advice while pregnant with him. God only knows what drugs she was taking BEFORE she knew she was pregnant.
