Blind Item #1

It certainly was awkward when this A+list mostly movie actress was on the red carpet shortly after she overheard the subject of the film privately talking smack about the actress and the way she played the role. You really don't want to get on the bad side of the actress. Ever.

  5. Yes, Tricia! I was trying to figure out what Enty meant by "subject of the film!" Thanks for clearing that up!

  7. I think Subject is who the movie is based on. So kinda like Erin Brochovich commenting on Julia Roberts performance.

Reese Witherspoon is playing Carrie Davis in a Good Lie, but I don't know anything about it.

  8. Maybe it could also be the writer of a novel made into a movie...and the actress who played the lead character in the novel.

    How about Jennifer Lawrence/Serena.

  12. It's supposed to be Cheryl Strayed (the main character in Wild) talking smack about Reese at the London premier. Cheryl's FB has pictures of them having tea, posing on the red carpet, sitting with the screenwriter.

This is a BS blind, though. Strayed isn't an idiot, she wouldn't be "talking smack" with the woman who played her character in earshot.

  13. Reece. "Serena" is based on a novel.

  15. Would everyone guessing AJ please explain what role she's recently played that isn't a fictional character?

  16. FWIW, I met Cheryl Strayed a couple of years ago when she was doing a bookstore appearance, and she couldn't have been sweeter to everyone there. She complimented me on the dress I was wearing, and when I told her I'd made it, we had a brief chat about sewing; her late and much-lamented mother did a lot of sewing when she was growing up. I don't usually say this, but sorry, Enty/Enties: if it's supposed to be Cheryl, it's a BS blind for sure. (Besides, as someone else pointed out, even if she didn't care for Reese's performance--and so far I've only heard that she's very happy with it--she's not foolish enough to badmouth her on the red carpet.)

  17. the blind didn't say the subject made the comments on the red carpet. it only said the actress went on the red carpet after hearing the smack talk. so cheryl could've made the comments before the red carpet event not knowing reese was in ear shot.
