The other day I saw that the organizers of Occupy Wall Street had celebrated their second anniversary by spending $100K and buying up millions of dollars worth of student aid debt in collection and then forgiving the debt of the people so it would not affect them negatively. On their first anniversary they did the same thing with medical bills that had gone to collection. I thought it was something that was a really great idea. If you had millions to give to charity every year, what would you spend it on?
