It's been advertising on Netflix and a few other places, but I have yet to talk to anyone that is watching it. My list of what I plan to watch is long, so unless I hear good things about it, I won't add it to my list.
@Derek, I saw about 30 minutes of it last night. Alicia Silverstone's wig stole the show. They also made it seem like her husband Simon was, essentially, stalking her before they got together. She also had no friends and no one on the Clueless set liked her. :-(
@ Derek I did & it was just as bad as you could have ever imagined. Extremely low budget & bad acting. The movie kept stressing that she never did drugs or didn't like to party. I think Ashton was the best part of the movie, that says a lot.
Didn't Brittany's father shit all over it last week? I figure since it's on Lifetime, I'm not in any danger of not catching it. It might actually be tougher to avoid seeing it than watching it. I have to stop typing now.
haha yeah I need to see it---Im a big fan but obvis believe drugs was a big part of her life and death---I hope the movie doesn't anger me though ---I like bad movies but not if they are disrespectful etc
@Derek, it wasn't disrespectful, I don't think. I love Brittany too and just thought this was hilarity all around. They mentioned it was Britney and Justin's house she was moving into. The one that killed her!
The girl chosen to play Brittany looked and sounded nothing like her. They also got the timeline wrong as Girl, Interrupted was filmed two years before Don't Say a Word. The shit was terrible.
BoJack Horseman is hilarious. If you like satire about Hollywood, celebrity entitlement, washed-up sitcom stars, and sex&drugs culture--which I'd imagine most CDAN readers would appreciate--then you'll love it. Plus: cartoon animals and Will Arnett. DO IT.
Bojack Horseman is great! Aaron Paul voices a character as well for all of the Jesse Pinkman fans out there. Oh and Amy Sedaris, Patton Oswalt and more. It's a really dark and funny Hollywood satire. Bojack (Will Arnett) is a washed up 90s sitcom star. And he's a horse.
LeAnn's new reality show is going to be animated?!
ReplyDeleteNo, I think it's SJPeePee's new show.
DeleteAnyone watch the Brittany Murphy lifetime movie yet? Is it good? Still haven't seen it
