  9. @Erin, he's said it a couple of times. Apparently, he lived in the DC area many years ago. My family is from the area and I've lived here since I was three so I've always been a fan. :)

  12. Gamblin season!

This is good. It will keep me from laughing at the people who think they should be making $15/hr working at fast food joints.

  14. @ Sandy, i will be devastated if the Bolts ever go back to LA. They had 3 teams and lost them all, so I think they've had a fair shot.

  17. Ive got a problem with people using breath and breathe interchangably. You cannot. Breath-im out of breath. Im holding my breath. So cold i see my breath. Breathe- so scared i couldnt breathe. I breathed in the fresh air. I dint dare breathe for fear of giving away my hiding spot. Think of it as cause and effect: you need air so you BREATHE, which creates BREATH. Two words NOT INTERCHANGABLE. Now dont make me hv to come in here again about this! Lol

  18. They need a new place to play and LA will build it if they will come.

  19. Haha clearly4you! Sad but true. Football is way boring, the ball is in actual play for I think it's an average of 12 minutes a game, it's too much standing around for me. But hey whatever, to each their own.

  20. Steroid-filled crime-prone African Americans running a couple of minutes in a quarter of an hour. I'm looking forward to it.

  21. @Count No way should they be making $15 an hour but cooks in those places should be paid more than the servers since they have more responsibility (most fast food places put all the cleaning except the sweeping and mopping of the dinning rooms if they have them on the cooks, not to mention cleaning the fryers, grills, dishes, back floors, etc...) and it's always +100 degrees in every fast food kitchen I've ever been in. But since most fast food places put men as cooks and women as servers, that'll never happen.

  23. Hawks will reign again...if they can get past the Saints in the playoffs. The Niners have conveniently pre-imploded, leaving only the Saints as real competition in the NFC.

  26. I must give thanks to the TV gods for cable. I never have to watch so much as a commercial for football.
