Off Topic

Should I even bother watching that Saved By The Bell movie I recorded last night? This is why I need a Magic 8 Ball in my life. To answer these pressing questions.

  6. Was it a two parter or mini series or something? I could have swore it went off mid scene with a credit roll and then started back mid scene.

  11. Was horrible..not worth it...no scandals at all except Mark Paul's mom is Asian. And I didn't know Slater was actually a black woman (who casted that person?)

  13. I think the only people who will find it watchable are the die-hard fans of the original show. I never saw the show so it was just bad acting in slo-mo to me.

  15. Terrible movie. Bad acting. Screech was made to look like an innocent kid that had no luck finding friends, women or getting laid. In reality he was a major sleezeball. Where's all the scandals that happened behind the scenes and all the fights and drug use. This was the worst unauthorized documentary ever.

  16. It was based on Screech's book so it made him look to be the good guy. He was really a cool kid forced to act as the dorky Screech which he found embarrassing and always trying to shed the image of. Nothing about his porn and how the other cast mates don't speak to him. It did show that AC Slater was always a womanizer and the only thing that surprised me was Jennie Garth was supposed to be one of the girls. Ohhh the kids orchestrated a prank war! Scandalous! Jessie maybe have been completely responsible for her drug addiction episode because she was desperate to get into movies. We're you bored reading my recap? That sums up how I felt watching it! The best part was they played Word Up by Cameo and Poison by BBD. all you need is to take one look at the actor dressed up as Zach and enjoy the giggles bc he looks ridiculous.

    1. I read the Screech book (99 cents have been spent worse) and I just don't buy his whole I was a cool kid forced to be dorky act. He was that geek, just to lesser extent and it clearly chafed him that the other stars wanted nothing to do with him, except Belding. The neediness is palpable there, and even his conquests seem rather sad. It especially don't jive when accuses Lopez of being a manwhore then brags two pages later about finger blasting some broad in the haunted mansion at Disney.

  20. It was pretty bad. When I heard the rest of the cast was against it I wondered why they didn't just chip in and give Screech whatever $ he needs to keep a roof over his head. After watching I wondered why they cared. It was super bland and they came off in a positive light. The most interesting part to me was Zach's mother because she was pretty strict.
