How hot does it really have to be outside to cook cookies on the dashboard of your car?

  4. i bake at 180 degrees - convert that to celcius and it's something like 82. So that answers your question.

  9. I've actually done this!!! (I live in phoenix.). Forget the exact temp, but single digit 100's is a safe bet. Car in full sunlight mid-day to afternoon (let it "preheat" in the am) and a few hours in the car and you're good!!! Seriously!! Makes your car smell fabulous. You just don't get browned cookies cuz the heat isn't high enough. (But they are properly baked.)

  11. I'm actually a little jealous of the hot weather. Our Summer was comfortable (I'm not complaining because it was beautiful), but i usually like August to get hot as balls, so I look forward to Fall. Oh Well, Bring on the Arctic blast that I know is our future. Sadness.
