Kanye West And The Fan In A Wheelchair

Kanye West was being his usual a-hole self in Australia this weekend. Like the diva he is, he demanded that every fan in the arena stand up and he would not continue until they were. One man, was in a wheelchair and obviously could not stand. Instead of believing him or just getting on with his f**king show, Kanye sent one of his bodyguards to make sure the fan, was actually wheelchair bound. What if he wasn't? Why does he have to stand up just because Kanye wants him to stand. Kanye is not the boss. The guy paid money to be there and it is up to him to stand or not stand. Kanye made things worse because other fans were booing the man and another person next to the wheelchair bound fan who is also disabled.

  1. not defending kanye here because he is an asshole but when you go to a kanye show you know he's an asshole, you've read all about his rants and tantrums he's thrown on stage so this is not shocking and is really a non story at this point. Kanye is a dick we know this, move on.

    1. Exactly what I was thinking. I've gone to concerts all kind of messed up. One time my friends brought me a lounge chair, helped me out there and helped me back, just so I could go to the show.

  3. Jack, it's also a non-story as it's been on multiple other sites for several days now. Enty phoning it in again.

  4. Zero sympathy for either disabled guy.

They were, after all, voluntarily at a Kanye West concert

  5. The bad thing about all of this is that Kanye is actually a pretty smart guy. He went of the rails after his mother died, and then got sucked into the Kardashian viper pit. Now he's like a tired, hungry toddler demanding Cheerios and applause.

    1. Well said. 'Tired, hungry toddler' haha! My 4 yr old nephew is classier than Kanye and you should see HIS tantrums :-)

    3. His mum died? I worked with foster kids with atrocious life stories and had better resilience, more respect for others and less entitlement than this grown man.
Let's also not forget he hitched his wagon to the Kardashian brand and all that entails.

  6. Snore. Kanye's an ass. Not exactly breaking news.

  7. If Kanye thinks he's Jesus, he should have gone into the audience and cast the handicap-devil out of the fan, old time revival style.

  8. Hopefully this will be one of the final nails in his coffin, and if his new album bombs it will definitely be the end of him...until Kim will hurry up and announce she is prego with nanny raised child #2 to compete with Beyonce!

  9. People really pay to see him ? Amazing.

  10. @seven, but kanye has always been an ass. he's just gotten worse since his mom died but he's been that way since he was just starting out. remember when he threw a fit cause he didn't win the best new artist grammy I think it was.

  11. Do y'all think he did this because he thinks he's Jesus (not saying he's delusional, per se, but the whole Yeezus act) or somethin'? Like healing the lame and all that? Just the thought that popped into my mind.

  12. I hope both disabled people and others in the audience sue this freakin jerk. Who in the heck is he to tell anyone in an audience to do anything ever. Even if you go to a concert knowing he is a idiot, which he is, you still don't have to do what he says. He is nuts, really nuts.

  13. I would totally go to a kanye concert cause his music is great imo but I would expect him to be an asshole and the show would probably go off the rails and be crazy but it'd be a story to tell lol.

  15. Someone ought to remind this stupid fool if people are paying money for a concert, he is working for the audience and not the other way around. I would sue for the embarrassment he caused me when others booed at me which makes them equally nuts.

  18. I think he is the #2 definition of "Douchebag" in Webster's dictionary. Right after "Massengil". -sorry if I misspelled, but you get the idea.

  19. Kanye's always been an asshole & comparing himself to Jesus, this hopefully will be one to the final nails in the coffin.

  20. Still this is new low for one who already had gone as low as you thought he could go, someone really needs to put a pin in that ego

  21. you guys, if chris brown is still widely loved by people after what he did why do you think kanye being an ass will be the end of him? his fans don't care if he's an asshole so he'll be around for a while.

  22. Yes, He's an asshole, but I have to say I LOVE "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" Album. I do, I can't lie.

  23. If you're at a Kanye show and you're booing, but you're not booing Kanye, you just really don't get the point.

  29. Honestly, I think Kim married him because he is a bigger douche than her mother. In her defense, it does look like she has been able to break out of the PMK abusive cycle. Unfortunately she is just in another controlling relationship.

  30. Kanye maybe should spend some time producing and staying out of the limelight for a while. His "assedness" is becoming too big of an issue.

  31. Why is anyone even clapping for this tool bag. I would pay for one of his concerts to save my life.

As for Standing up. While I was standing up, I'd be walking out that door.

  32. Why do people continue to enable arrogant narcissists like this fool? Really, there are plenty of other mediocre music makers who might be counted on at least to show a pittance of respect for the members of their audience. Come on, people, stop buying tickets to see these monsters!

  34. It's like goofus and gallant from highlights. Jesus comforts and heals the sick and disabled. Yeezus berates them mercilessly. What a dork. Not blaming him for the initial mistake of not recognizing that the guy was in a wheelchair but to continue ORDERING and then move on to punishing. You can't lay this on the Kardahsians - it's all Kanye.

Every time I see Kanye I can't help but think of his "George Bush doesn't care about black people" rant.
Then I think about his sh-t product on Zappos.
Then I remember how the President called him a "jackass".

    When will he go away?

I plan on watching this video after my sales meeting. Everyone talks about how great he is. I wonder if this will show me.

And I don't care how goddamn talented you are or how you expect him to be an ass, that doesn't give him a pass to abuse handicapped people. (He hits me but I love my man so much so I let him do it..No, just fuck no.)

  44. It makes me REALLY sad that other people in the audience were verbally attacking the disabled people who were there.

How dare you disabled people in wheelchairs sit there and delay the concert we paid to see?

Think for one minute how those disabled people must have felt.

    I hate Kanye West.

  47. Ehat song does Kanye start singing at the end of the clip? Seriously, if anyone can help identify it, I'd appreciate it. Cheers.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Sprink

The song he is singing is the classic refrain "George Bush doesn't care about black people". It's pretty well known amongst a large swath of the ignorant and mentally challenged voters usually found on both coasts. They're largely uninformed (hat tip: MSM) that GWB is beloved in Africa for his work to combat AIDS.
