Blind Items Revealed

January 26, 2014

This former A+ list singer/celebrity who has dropped to A list tried to steal all the attention away from the guest of honor at a party this weekend. Our former A+ lister was being obnoxious and saying it was great they were honoring so and so but that our A lister sold more records and done more for the world and wouldn't shut up talking about herself all night. She made a lot of new enemies.

Lady GaGa/Carole King

  2. Good! Let the downward spiral begin

  3. @Mother Campfire got it. And @Lotta, too.

  4. She did this and does this with Tony Bennett.

  5. I think one record by Carole King --Tapestrco-wroteld everything Gaga ever made by itself. Forget any singles or other albums she made or all the hit singles she wrote or co-wrote.

  6. You have to be a real shitbox to poo poo Carole King. She is one of the greatest legends of our time.

  7. If gaga was still making good music I could overlook this shit but she did a song with r. Kelly so she's dead to me.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh, no she did not!
    About Carole King?
    GaGa, you blasphemous has been!
I don't care what shit you're on...you DO NOT diss legends at their events. It's tacky, trashy, and delusional.
Let's see if anyone remembers your meat dress in 40 years, bitch.

    1. @Kno Won Uno. ^This X eleventy-million!

Tapestry is one of my Top 5.

    2. The meat dress wasn't even an original concept. It was stolen from Mark Ryden

    3. @Bee Haven- yes! He's one of my favorite artists. I recognized that dress immediately.

    4. Ms B'have: guess what I ask for every Christmas? Art. Well prints, beautifully framed. I also have Kozyndan and if you love Mark (my back job and the other sleeve are incorporating his work) check out Travis Louie. Brilliant! I've got 4 of his prints.

  9. I didn't expect her to crash and burn like this when she first came out.

  10. Wtf it was perfect when I hit publish. Tapestry outsold everything Gaga ever made by itself.

  11. I'm irrationally angry that it's Carole King.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Tapestry still sells, Sandy. Actual music.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Well, that's one way to garner attention....really leaves a bad taste

    ReplyDelete
  14. Carole King is still relevant 30 years past her biggest hitmaking period. In 30 years, who will be talking about Gag? Or even in another 10?

    ReplyDelete
  15. True., Tapestry and Dark Side of the Moon are still selling 40 years later. Gaga will be selling drugs soon.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Carole doesn't need to steal songs or pretend to be someone else.

Classless to do that at an event honoring Carole.

    ReplyDelete
  17. When has Carole King publicly insulted another artist?
This is like Kanye pissing on Tony Bennett's trouser leg.
    It's just not done.
    I might require sedation.

  18. That classless beast who has to dress up like a circus sideshow freak to hide her lack of talent, isn't even fit to be in the same room as the legendary Carole King. :( :( :(

  19. GaGa, it's time for your exit, dearie.

  20. I'll bet Carole King just laughed it off. She's too classy to give a rat's ass about Gaga.

I saw Carole King in concert with James Taylor 4 years ago, and they both blew me away. Carole is over 65 and was on stage singing as well as ever AND doing high kicks in spike heels...let's see Gaga do that in 35 years! ha I doubt she'll even still be alive then.

  21. Don't forget, the songs Carole worked on at the Brill Building. "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" is a stand out to this day, along with "One Fine Day," "I'm into Something Good," etc.

It's worth repeating, true talent doesn't require gimmicks.

  22. The first "grown up" album (yes young ones, before there were CDs there were albums) I ever got was Tapestry. My mom belonged to one of those music clubs and she rotated who got to pick amongst by brothers and sisters. It was my turn and I was so excited to choose this one. I was on elementRy school.

  23. Carole King has more song-writing talent in her fingernail clippings than Lady Gag-ya could ever hope to possess. And she didn't need to roll in to anyplace hatching out of a f***ing egg to get attention.

    GAWD

  24. All Lace, CDs are obsolete to the young uns. It's all about the downloads.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Carole is way too cool to bitch slap Ms. Gaga, but I would be happy to do it for her.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Don't really believe this happened

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ummmm...pretty sure Carole King is a legend...and Gaga is a has been.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gaga is a never was ... much more than a bad Madonna impersonator.

    ReplyDelete
  29. One thing guaranteed Carol king will have in 5 years that gaga won't is royalties. .

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well dayum! In case anyone remembers, I always quasi defended GaGa and her Art Pop CD.

This has pushed me over the edge. Really Gaga really?!

No more Art Pop for me!

    *stomps off*

  31. Tapestry...one of the best albums of all time. I heard one song of the Gaga-Bennett duets and was horrified at how screamy horrible Gaga was. Why, Tony, why?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Carole King + Where The Wild Things Are = pure magic.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @ Queen thx for the reminder. At least they may still known and recognize a CD?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Too much too soon... Her fall will be major. Anyway, sounds like a typical egomaniac cokehead being an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  35. IF this actually happened then Gaga didn't need to be bitch slapped by Carole, who, I agree is too classy to do that. She already knew Gag (typo and it stays!) was doing it to herself.

Tapestry is also one of my top 5's as well. hard to believe that was when I was 10! Shows you who buys music huh?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Tapestry was the first album I ever bought after saving up my change. I think it was $5.

Gaga had better STFU, she's on the fast train to Dlistville.

    ReplyDelete
  37. You can thank gays for Gaga. They made her and she is just God awful. No one straight has ever liked her copycat self.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I hope it's not true. Or misleading. Carole is a genius and sweetheart. There's so much to honor her for that Gaga shouldn't have sensed any opportunity for self-promotion.

    ReplyDelete
  39. gaga isn't fit to wash Carol King's post coital jizz cleanup rag.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Didn't Carol also write a few songs for the Monkees like "Pleasant Valley Sunday" and "Last Train to Clarksville"?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Makes me want to go download Tapestry now, and leaves me wondering why I haven't done that before!

Gaga is just a poor man's Madonna. I heard Like a Prayer on Pandora the other day and it made me think about how scandalous that was when it came out. And how middling of a singer Madonna is/was.

    1. Frufra - more the limp man's Madonna.

  42. I said it before, I'll say it again:
Lady. Gaga going cuckoo over herself was the biggest fastest implosion I've seen since Terence Trent Darby said he was bigger than the Beatles. I'm so glad she's on 14:59 of her 15.
And by the way, I keep hearing giggling, and I just realized who's doing it--it's Madonna and Cher, both of whom are LOVING this. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  43. @delete - excellent point re. Terence TD. I loved that dude when he came out, but he shot himself in the foot.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not only was TTD spouting off about himself but his preacher dad speaking about him as though he were the second coming of Christ. Good Lord his voice was amazing. So sad he only had that one album that peaked. He should have had more.

  44. Clearly, our homegirl Carole does NOT Got a Friend in Gaga!!! :(

    ReplyDelete
  45. I thought Gaga was going to be the next Madonna. Was she ever HUGE! But, nope. That's what happens when you believe your own hype too early in your career. She was not established enough to cop that kind of attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Get over yourself gaga. The rest of the world has!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Poor Lady Gaga. She is 5 yrs away from a gig in Branson.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I got one! *happy dance*
