  4. Nice one @Aggie!
And yes, $$$ speaks louder than words...
They both should've been given another chance or kicked out together

@jack: I've seen this happen before. And they usually separate the male because their persuit of the sexual relationship is cast as more predatory. Now that is bullshit but it happens. It sounds like this was more about money and publicity. Booting a celebrity from rehab could be a PR nightmare, especially if she went out and relapsed or ODed after

  6. @Lady, yeah I know this stuff happens it just seemed like Kesha was really serious about getting clean and she seemed to have done so well that I wouldn't have thought she'd jeopardize it for sex but then again she is an entitled celebrity so who knows.

  7. Is Ke$ha really considered A list? :O I thought she was a solid B, at the most.

  8. I think when people try to kick a vice they focus on other vices like sex

  10. Yep. Dumb bunnies have sex in rehab. Some treat the stay as their chance for A Shot of Love. Very frowned on.

Bar flies are a classy, demure bunch.

  13. So many marriages end (or begin) when one goes to rehab. It happens a lot.

  15. During my one and only stint - please, let's keep it to one - it was definitely the ladies who were macking. Most of us guys just wanted to hang, play cards, trash talk sports - anything other than the rehab rehashing of our sins, transgressions and ways we disappointed others.

Maybe it was just the weird statistical draw of the group, but it was the ladies who wanted to mack. When you take away the booze pills whatever there's usually something else that hurts a bit. I definitely saw the vulnerability. Others did two. I know of one for sure clinic hook up. She pursued. He was just being a guy down with some OPP.

  16. Well, in his defense, the sex partner was probably a homeless guy she found in the alley out back so not too humiliating for him or surprising they kicked him out:)

  17. @Gweeds: Thanks for sharing. I've seen a lot of that too. When my friend was in treatment last year, she pursued a relationship with a male in the facility. They ended up relocating him even though she initiated it. In addition to substituting one addiction or vice for another, a lot of female drug addicts also suffer from overlapping conditions, like borderline PD. These conditions make them more prone to seeking out male validation. More generally though, us ladies are often taught that our value is linked to our relationship status. So I think it's a mix of a lot of those things. However, there are also always males looking to pounce on any lady that walks into an AA meeting. All around, sad, sad.

I hope you are doing better and are continuing to fight the good fight! :)
