ReplyDelete@Cake, yeah, I was mocking the grammar. He was on In Living Color, which made several others famous (the Wayans brothers in particular). It should've read "on a show not named SNL that made him and several others famous".

ReplyDelete@Cake JC was on a show called the "Cracker Factory" or something like that, as a regular. I watched it solely because I had seen him at a comedy club. His mania was intensely funny, but his ability to radically alter the shape of his face in an instant scared me. Until you're like 7 feet from this, you have no idea how disturbing it is.
