Blind Items Revealed

May 23, 2014

This B list mostly movie actress, who has the talent of a D lister and A+ list name recognition has been trying to bully a woman into giving up the rights to a name so the actress can have it for herself. The actress has also done her best to call in favors to halt the production of a television pilot based on the woman's life. The actress is hoping that if she ties this up in court she can run through the life savings of the other woman and she will cave.

Jessica Alba ( Honest Toddler)

  1. What a bitch. Isn't she also the one who bitched about not being able to wear shirts into a mosque?

  2. Her hubs is a slimy business man aka con-man who uses her money on his ventures.

  3. I tried the diapers, they broke my nephew out so bad after 30 minutes we had to take him to hospital for the reaction. Crappy product!

  4. It took a while but @clubbed wang finally managed to crack this caper!!! Although this is still confusing as hell...

  5. Her company is supposed to be under investiagaion by the Better Business Bureau. They sign you up for monthly re-newal & keep charging credit cards even after customers have cancelled.

  6. Honestly, does anyone else see the humor in calling diapers a crappy product?

  7. This is awful. If the same energy was directed to doing good, the world would be a better place. I've heard the slimy comments about her husband before. What are his ventures?

  8. @Lace, that's part of the stickler. Alba's "Honest Company" is directed at turning Alba into a down home family values person who cherishes children and social responsibility. Honest Toddler is a satire of her schtick, and that makes her lawyers bonkers because they have OVER 40 TRADEMARKED HONEST PRODUCTS called HONEST MARKS and Honest Toddler isn't one of them! No one would buy an honest toddler! And an honest toddler might object to a plant-based diaper delivery by the UPS guy every week!

  10. That's business. Good on her.

  11. This should have never been a blind; there was an article LAST YEAR about Alba attempting to sue Honest Toddler, the author wrote about it herself. Silly this was ever posted as a BI.

Honest Toddler is effing hilarious, and she deserves all the success in the world. Alba is a bitch who makes half-assed "green" products.

I thought I heard that Alba also tried to sue the makers of Honest Tea?

  13. So the husband's shady and Jessica's a humorless, litigious bitch? Fun couple!

Now I gotta go check out Honest Toddler's twitter feed. :)

  14. Will she sue the dictionary next for printing the word "honest" without her permission?

  15. LOL and Jessica doesn't realize that satire is not a violation of trademark as far as I know

suing Honest Toddler is good for Honest Toddler

  16. What a Bitch!!! Note to self never by any of her products.

  17. Jessica's like Mrs JT & thinks she's a great actress & blames her beauty for why Natalie Portman gets all the good roles over her.

  18. Alba is a horrible person. Stop buying her products, tell everyone with kids that you know what a dreadful douchebag Jessica is.

  19. Ever since her company's been under investigation, I'm finding that crap all over the get it free sites. (I saw Honest Company in the email header and deleted it without even reading it.)

    Karma is sweet.

  20. Alba's career highlight is being photographed from behind, in a bikini, while on all fours.

  21. Um,A+ name recognition? I guess you could say that of like Bai Ling or Honey Boo Boo.

  22. @count.. the truth man!!
her products are at target.. they are cute but overpriced and loaded w/ bad chemicals used for horses.. customs stopped a huge shipment from china of her product b/c of the horse products..

  23. "I thought I heard that Alba also tried to sue the makers of Honest Tea?"

Let her try. While they are still run independently, Coca-Cola bought them a few years back. They would snap her like a twig.

  24. Lately a lot of the rags have been saying her company is worth a billion dollars. I mean..where did that come from? Jessica's PR must be working overtime. From the posts here it sounds more like her company is sinking.

And what a bitch to sue someone who had the name BEFORE she came up with it!

  25. Krissie lainey had an interesting article on that valuation too and said it's 10 X the sales value used to raise funds.. and the company was still losing money if raising that kind of capital. Maybe 7 can link the most recent ja. From her site.

    TIMELINE

  28. I'd never heard of Honest Toddler until now. She's giving them great PR.

  29. Sounds like The Honest Company is creating trouble for themselves and giving that mommy blog some good publicity.

I can't help but think that the reason they changed their minds about her is because Honest Toddler was getting popular.

Truth be told though I doubt Jessica is smart enough to come up with that plan. It's probably someone else in her legal side that suggested it.

  30. I bet she's just a face for the Honest Company or whatever it is. She strikes me as being as dumb as she looks.

    The Honest Toddler is funny.

  31. When this was going down the woman that writes Honest Toddler was very open about everything going on. This was public not sure why it was a blind. So many moms said they'd never buy The Honest Company products again.

    ReplyDelete
  32. What a bitch. Does she not have enough money? It would be fine if she used the "honest" name first. But she didn't and won't win on principal. Case closed.
