Blind Items Revealed

February 7, 2014

This A list celebrity chef with her own show and products and even a restaurant rarely tries her own food and never eats more than one meal a day. Apparently she thinks her entire empire will disappear if she gains even a pound so tries to limit herself to under 1000 calories a day. An anorexic chef. Huh.

Giada

  1. The sad truth is that she may very well be right.

  2. According to John Mayer, she ingests the majority of her calories in the form of jizz.

Giada's special protein shake, taken several times daily.

  3. Sad really because she was slightly larger when her show first started.
There's an item about her being addicted to laxatives too.

  4. Isn't there a saying about never trusting a skinny chef?

  6. I'm not sure what's wrong with what she's doing.

  7. Surely fueling the super-human effort to manoeuvre her enormous bobble head around this world requires more than 1000 calories?

    1. Omg seriously she's like a walking lollipop.

  8. Personally I am surprised that the too skinny female chefs are able to have any credibility in the food world. Hard enough for females but if you look like you never taste your own food or even enjoy it that's a huge no no. I take it Giadi is not an Iron Chef either.

My favourite female chefs are the ladies of Chopped anyway.

  9. It is probably more common than you think, Enty.

  10. Yes! Never trust a super skinny chef. Her bobble head is the product of that 1000 calorie a day diet. Truth be told though, she's like an elf. Very small human being. Almost primordial dwarf.

She never stops smiling from ear to ear, and showing off those big teeth long enough to put food in her mouth.

  12. I don't believe you need to be fat to be a credible chef but you can't be skinny for sure

  13. I thought she eats sausages.

  15. Sadly she's probably right .
We ,the simple peoples love the fantasy. We love to believe the actresses who say "i'm not on diet.I'm skinny because of my gene" "i'm all natural"

    1. Lol @ Lotta & Pip.

I do t think gaining weight would hurt her. Most dudes I see are into her tits.

  18. Aww that's kind of sad. If you really love cooking and food, then it's got to be horrible to feel the need to starve yourself like that. But maybe she doesn't really like food all that much and it's just a job for her. Not sure how that would work, but anything is possible I guess.

  19. As petty as it sounds, I hate how she pronounces certain foods. I get that they are Italian, and she is adding the accent to say it properly, but it's almost as if she adds an accent to the accent. She does it with every other word. I watch her show if I'm feeling extra bitchy, so I can add nasty commentary. I do that to the Pioneer Woman too. Ugh.

    1. @Pip, I do that to PW and Rachel Ray, too. Such saccharine should not go unchecked!

  20. Oooh. This is a good one.

I totally believe it. Her newest cookbook is so diet-y. It's filled with juicing recipes and egg-white omelets and quinoa (which I find to be disgusting. I much prefer barley or lentils.) Anywho, every recipe has like kale or chia seeds. When I read it, I'm like, "can every food trend known to mankind be in this book?" I mean, god. Just give me your fabulous old school Italian recipes.

  21. THIS IS A STRAIGHT UP LIE.

When she films her cooking show, she has to do three shows in one day to get enough done for the season. All TV chefs do. And all chefs eat what they cook and it's more than a 1000 calories a day. Giada exercises and does yoga. That's why she doesn't gain weight. Not all chefs are fat. Bobby Flay has two TV shows and a dozen restaurants and he is in great shape. Why not call him an anorexic chef? Or maybe Jeffrey Zakarian? Or any of a dozen TV chefs. Why single out Giada?

  22. A skinny chef with big boobs….please

  23. She looks skinny but to me she doesn't look anorexic. When I am on phentermine 37.5 I try to eat 1000-1200 to achieve desired weight loss. It's possible because you aren't hungry. She is coasting on her brand and business. Not coming up with all sorts of recipes.
. Key word in her title is Celebrity and everyone wants to look great on tv. Even that unibrow top chef master Hugh guy thinned it out after a season of judging because ... He looked better. IMHO

@Essie People single out Giada because she's a hot woman and she has personality that you either love or hate. Giada's a much bigger star than Bobby or Alton or most Food Network personalities.

  25. She's not my client, so I'm not gonna armchair-diagnose her, but it's not uncommon for people with EDs to spend an inordinate amount of time planning and making meals that they will never eat. If they're actually making them, it's usually for loved ones or they end up in the trash. If this is true about Giada, it's what she does for a living, so great cover.

  26. Paula Deen made a comment about a celeb chef who would act like she's eating on camera and then spit it out. I figured it was G.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Dont buy it. She looks fine to me. The few times ive seen pics of her that is.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Giada is not a chef - she's a TV food personality. She's also the child of European/Hollywood film royalty, and I can't think of any other group of people more likely to program into female children that it is their duty to be rich AND thin at all costs.

On camera she never takes more than one or two tiny bites of whatever she makes, and I'll bet she spits the second one out the second they stop rolling.

  29. Truly when I spend a long time making a meal when it's time to sit and eat I'm not extremely hungry and not because I sampled along the way. It's a well known phenomena because your sense of smell has been overwhelmed. Very common side effect. Someone here can probably educate better than I.

  30. sausage is good protein ya'll

  31. G used to weigh 50lbs more than she does now.

  32. I'm guessing some news is coming out about Giada soon. Another site had a BI about her creeping with another man recently.
Maybe they have an open relationship.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I believe she is anorexic. Why Food Network get rid of her, and give her show to a more worthy chef? All she ever was was the grandaughter of Dino, and an unsuccessful caterer.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @Tricia
Bobby Flay is far more famous and respected in the food world than Giada could ever be. He was a respected chef before getting into TV. Same for Alton. But who is more famous is not my point. I'm just sick of the rumors and lies people on this site insist on throwing around about this woman.

    ReplyDelete
  35. To echo everyone else, that's damn sad. What's the point of being able to cook like that if you can't enjoy it?

    ReplyDelete
  36. How do you say her name? I'm in the lower end of the world and always read 'Giardia'...

    1. @piglet, it's pronounced like Jabba in Jabba the Hut but with a Buh sound, not a Duh.

    2. Or, with a B sound, not a D, which is how a grown up would say it. (I need coffee.)

  37. On a semi-liquid diet.

  38. I guess I don't understand because I have never seen her TV show. I'm just guessing but wouldn't at least 50% of her audience be female? Why would they give a crap if she gained a few pounds. The same for some of the males that watch her for the cooking.
The only ones that would want her to be eye candy are the men that watch her for the T & A and imagining getting one of her famous BJs.

  39. Most of the food Giada makes is guaranteed to send you right to the bathroom when you eat it. She has lost weight since she first started her show.

One of my favorite fried chicken recipes is hers, one she made before she became "little big head". Even my sister, who is recovering from a stroke, asked me if people believe that she eats what she she cooks.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't know her, but 1,000 calories daily isn't really starvation or pro ana. Just saying.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Have never seen or heard of Giada as I dont watch cooking shows however 1000calories a day takes serious willpower! Wow!

    ReplyDelete
  42. She's not too thin. But given that she's petite, it's no surprise she has to eat very little to stay thin. She's annoying, though, her big jaws and smile. Eck. That's why I always love Paula Deen and Ina Garten and Mario- they eat what they cook! Very real.

  43. Count, you see dudes that are into Giada's tits? Do you prefer these guys go M or B on you?

  44. Great...now I feel guilty. I just had 3 pieces of chocolate.
