Blind Items Revealed

January 14, 2014

This celebrity is a lovely person. Probably too lovely for her own good. Too trusting. She believes every word that people say to her. It has caused her to go down in flames and until she realizes what people are doing to her they will continue to walk over her and take advantage and she will end up with nothing. Our celebrity is probably B- list. A singer. For a brief moment in time she was approaching A list. Now, she will be lucky to not be a D by the end of the year. At this point she is just fighting to get paychecks.

People think she is rich because of her success but her "mentor" kept most of the money for himself and told her she would make her money the next time around. Her mentor is an a-hole of monumental proportions who convinced her to sign over some rights in exchange for his help with her music. She did so and now has nothing but promises and two or three nights of being degraded by the mentor who is a former A list tweener. She bought a lot of things because she thought she had the money or would keep having money. Not extravagant things. She wasn't out buying pink furs or anything. She bought a condo which she is now selling. She bought a car which she already sold. She was talked into working with other people and because she is nice did so for a flat fee even though she was entitled to much more. She just wanted to help and was trying to pay it forward. There is no pay it forward in the music industry. Because she has not jumped on the sex for songs bandwagon or sex for everything bandwagon her career has nosedived. Things are "delayed." Things are "subject to budget cuts." No air play and no support means our celebrity has gone from a household name to a nobody in record time.

  1. I thought she was playing Cinderella on Broadway?

  2. Ok, I read her wiki, not much coming up for her. Poor dear. I hope karma swings back in her favor soon.

  3. So was the "mentor" Usher or Bieber? Or Scooter Shaver? Don't they have enough money on their own without having to siphon it off of Katy Perry's adopted little sister?

  4. @MontanaM for the win. Why not reveal Biebs as the other tweener Enty?

I hate her song but this makes me kinda sadies

  5. Bieber is a disgusting mule for doing this to a fellow Canadian. I hope her career skyrockets and she gets the chance to "return the favor".

  6. The career of a solo artist is fickle anyway. She still let someone degrade her sadly.

  7. @7, I've always understood Bieber to be her mentor.

  14. What a dirty industry! I wish all of the slimeballs could be exposed and lose their money and power.

  15. Yup, a slimy industry. Hope they all get it back and she turns out to be ok.

  16. Dear me, Charlie Hunnam can rock facial hair.

Still foggy and stuffed up, but I'm determined to avoid cold medicine today. The dulcet tones of James Marsters reading the latest Jim Butcher helps immensely. And Orphan Black gifs! <3

  17. Not the first newbie to get screwed over by her 'helpers', and not the last.

She was on Broadway for 7 months so while she may not be rolling in it she should be flush for now. And doing that gets you invited to perform at Memorial Day concerts, Kennedy Center Honors, etc. so it keeps your foot in the door.

In the meantime if she was so inclined I think she could find a whole bunch of folks who would help her f*ck with the Biebs.

  21. @derek Hopefully not but thank you for reminding me of the name of the song this chick is known for, I seriously couldn't remember. Remember the 80's (and prior) how you had to have sustained success to be considered a star in music? I mean, I think Firehouse sold more singles than Carly but does anyone even remember they existed?

  22. @Seven, then you'd love my facial hair after a few days. I can rock any type of look you want with it lol

I honestly used to have to keep a razor and shaving cream at work so I could shave during my shift since it grew so fast.

  23. The whole industry, music, film, fashion is just gross to me now. I can't help thinking of what someone has had to do to get where they are now. Espec when their music/acting/whatever is crap to start off with. It's diminishing my enjoyment of people who perhaps haven't had to degrade themselves for the opportunities & promotion afforded to them. Modern industry just seems to be full of people using each other & abusing their positions of power and/or influence. It's gross.

  25. @Rowdy---I have this very very strange (drugs) older sister whom is 13 years older than me---I shouldn't be able to "remember" whom Firehouse is but I know who they are lolllll

    ReplyDelete
  26. unfortunately Count I think Iam neither-----but I think I like being single.

  27. @Rowdy I thought you were talking about the KISS song Firehouse...now I'm gonna be singing that all night.

If you wanna talk remember when - remember when you could go see The Rolling Stones at a Stadium show for around $15.00? You could see Earth, Wind & Fire & Bootsy Collins, ELO & their flying saucer stage, Freddie Mercury & Queen and KISS (while we're naming names) ANY of these bands for under $15.00. Now these lame brained fucks like Beiber charge how much and they don't even sing live? The music business now is pathetic. (Showing my age).

  28. @MinPin Nah, I wouldn't want to set your soul afire :P I saw KISS in 2000 during the Farewell Tour and had great seats twice. The first I was right next to Paul's crowd stage for $35 and one with a meet and great VIP package for $100.

Bret Michaels is going to be here next month and the VIP tickets are $50, so I'm taking my Dad since he's become a big Bret and Poison fan over the last year or so.

Classic rock: They might not be the hippest, coolest, newest toys on the block but they usually give you the best bang for your buck on concerts (not to mention real music).

  29. @Rowdy the first time I saw KISS was on their Rock & Roll Over tour 1978. Tickets were $7.95 for floor seats. When they were on the Dynasty tour I dressed up like Paul Stanley for a KISS look-alike contest (Peaches Records was having) won tickets to the show and had lots of fun dressed up (as Paul) backstage at the show.

The roadies HATED Paul. They referred to him (behind his back) as MS. Stanley. After the show the roadies literally offered to let me walk out with his Ibanez Ice Man guitar (I didn't). They REALLY hated him.

I caught them several more tours but never paid over $20.00 for a ticket. I don't know how teenagers afford to go to shows now they're so ridiculously expensive.
