This B+ list mostly television actress on a very hit pay cable show made a very good point, but just went about it the wrong way. She used some time with this A list model/reality host/mogul to pitch herself as the host of a regular spin off show instead of the former B list actress used now. The problem is our B+ lister brought it up every five seconds to the point where the A lister told her to shut up.

ReplyDeleteJJ and Klum?
ReplyDeleteRossum & klum
Deleteheidi replacing alyssa milano with??
ReplyDeleteemmy Rossum and Ill have to interpret the rest to answer but I think one is Heidi Klum
ReplyDeleteYeah Alyssa fits she just had a bebeh has no time.
ReplyDeleteJinx sandy!
ReplyDeleteDM link
I like Rossum guess as well
ReplyDeleteAnyone notice that Zosia has a striking resemble to Joan Rivers (young pre surgery) and how she debuted a Joan haircut the other day?
I think she just wanted change...maybe just had a break up?
Delete@derek harvey
ReplyDeleteOoh, you've just sparked a thought. I wonder if any Hollywood execs are ruminating on the thought of a Joan Rivers bio-pic.
DM FTW LadyH!!!
ReplyDeletehaha--I think that is jumping the gun a little---I don't see Zosia riled up to do a Lifetime movie anytime soon---just that it was peculiar
ReplyDeletebut their faces and bone structure are very similar--I always thought Zosia looked so much like someone and then it dawned on me who
ReplyDeletespeaking of faces---has anyone tried the dermawand? lol---as seen on tv--its like a little laser gun for your faces---I wanna order one but don't know anyone that has tried it---its like 150 bucks --so I don't wanna waste the cash if it is garbage
ReplyDeleteSpend your $150 on sunscreen and maybe a hat. Seriously!
Deletehaha--hey demandah! I use both---its more for dark circles under the eyes actually---probably from staring at a computer screen often ; )
ReplyDelete@derek harvey
ReplyDeleteIt's only fair to warn you, Derek, that I'm about to step onto my soapbox. I am 31-years-old and I don't look a day over 24. Because I gave up meat, dairy and sugar and upped my intake of fresh fruit and green juices. I know you're rolling your eyes right now, but 'tis true. #rawvegan
And genes, if you have dark circles you prob. have them from your mom side, it's jut the way it is
DeleteAmen Yoj. Raw vegan all the way.... sometimes genetics help also. I don't think my lifestyle now will undo the abuse my body underwent during my temermarious youth.
Delete*Temerarious, sorry.
Delete@Derek Harvey
ReplyDeleteColonic irrigation/hydrotherapy will help shift dark circles (if it's not genetic, then one of the causes is a build up of waste and toxins in the lower colon). Go to a clinic that uses qualified registered nurses, though.
Yoj. I am a parasite freak in that I intermittently go through a full cleanse. It's scary what critters can live inside us and wreak so much damage.
Delete@Yoj---oh honey you are preaching to the choir---but I do smoke---I got asked for ID to buy a lighter a few months ago and I am 30 and 6ft tall ---not being a braggard or anything---you just notice subtle changes when you turn 30 ya know?
ReplyDelete*just notice
ReplyDelete@Derek Harvey
ReplyDeleteWell, now that you mention it, you do look about twenty in your profile photo. I just assumed it was an old one!
thanks! nope --few months ago
ReplyDeletebut I am obsessive compulsive about moisturizing and sunscreen
ReplyDeletewelcome to the beauty thread everyone leave your guesses behind and chime in lol
ReplyDelete@Derek Harvey
ReplyDeleteGuess what I got for my thirtieth birthday? Chin hair! Mortifying.
Yoj. Welcome to the club! I had thus one, wirey hair protruding from my chin. It was like a brush bristle. All on his lonesome .
DeleteMy husband & I named him Gerald. One day after plucking that bugger, he never returned. I like to stroke my chin and remember the good times...
And let me just add to that Derek, I've had a steady diet of cigarettes, booze and drugs. When I tell people I am 60 they tell me I don't look much older than 55. My 54th birthday is just around the corner. Yay me!
ReplyDeleteI say this as a cautionary tale of course.
DeleteHahahahahahaha You are awesome hahahahahaha
Delete@Rosie: she is a bit, isn't she! @ Sherry - hilarious!
Deleteyeah well its not all fun and games for me either---one word- Rogaine! It is apparently only noticible to me but I aint turning into no Jude Law so there is an extra 50 bucks a month out my pocket-that is one less night at a pub per month!
ReplyDelete@Sherry---I have seen your pics---you look great and healthy! and I like your diet as well at times haha
Thanks Derek for both sympathy and compliments. Hey that should be a play! My diet consists of anything I feel like eating. Food is a pleasure to be enjoyed. Not to poo poo any other personal choices stated here.
DeleteOh a good note the onset of depression due to the loss of my beloved cat has resulted in no eating and less of a desire to smoke oddly. Time to start the Chantix again.
ReplyDeleteU are a very sweet lady and always nice.im very sorry for ur loss.
DeleteThank you Rosie. I appreciate that.
DeleteSherry: oh nan, I am so sorry. That's devastating. Champix scares me. Does it really work?
Delete@Sherry---sorry to hear that--it is very tough---what is chantix?
ReplyDeleteMiracle drug for smoking cessation. Gotta be careful though cuz it can give you some messed up moods if you take it at the wrong time.
Delete@Sherry
ReplyDeleteOh, Sherry, I'm profiundly sorry to hear that. Have you someone to talk to? In addition to the meds, I mean. Venlafaxine was my safety net for a long time.
*profoundly
ReplyDeleteYoj, you've always been so sweet. Thank you.
DeleteSounds like Kate Mara was eating Heidi's pussy
ReplyDelete@Yoj - are you gluten free as well?
ReplyDeleteI'm off meat, dairy (cheese was hard to give up but worth it) and sugar too
I've been gluten free for a few months now and my skin has never looked better
Teresa: did you go gluten free due to intolerance, or as a health decision? I'm vegan, mostly raw, but haven't eliminated gluten. I know my body can't handle white (processed carbs). Interested to know re your decision, and the benefits?
Delete@Teresa---well lah de dah Gwyneth lol xo
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Derek
ReplyDeleteI have to confess I'm kind of like Goopy with my diet
Just because as I get older it is straight up work to keep the weight off
I have to watch my diet way more these days than in my 20s
Also Amazonian Clay is amazing for your skin. It is like an instant facelift :)
@yoj. Welcome to the chin hair club. It's like the "Hair Club for Women". I also started getting these strange, baby hair fine white hairs that would seemingly spring up overnight. I feel like I'm part unicorn.
ReplyDelete@Sherry I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. Sometimes, there are no words....
ReplyDeleteThank you Juniper. Most kind.
DeleteI'm 48 and routinely get assumed for 35. I eat lots of meat, salt, sugar and fried food. I think it's just all in the genes.
ReplyDelete@sherry
ReplyDeleteAs a rescuer/animal advocate/owner/lover
I am very saddened to hear your news...but have no doubt your precious family member li ed a wonderful life:)
Stay strong:)
@Sherry, very sorry about loss of your cat-very sad.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Minka Kelly won't have to "accidently" leak that sex tape with Celeb X afterall if she gets chosen to replace Alyssa Milano if she doesn't return.
ReplyDeleteSo are you guys on the - I eat air - diet? I do organic dairy but I could never go vegan. I gots to have a cheeseburger every now and then. I don't care for red meat as much the older I get but it hits the spot occasionally.
ReplyDeleteOh, Sherry...*hug* Been there, done that, know how much it sucks. Take care of yourself, OK?
ReplyDeleteRobin, you are one of my favorite commenters. I know you've had to deal with the loss as well. I will presume most here have had to at some point.
ReplyDeleteRolo and Tricia S. Ditto. I take solace in everyone's sympathy.
Truly, this is what makes me coming back to CDAN. People here are so kind. Kind enough to treat me losing a cat on the same level as a loved one or their own personal struggle. Not to ever put a cherished pet on the same level as a loved one or medical issues of course. Truly THAT is a bigger loss.
It has made my sad day all the better you guys.
Aww hugs for Sherry, very sad.
ReplyDeleteand still no one answered my question about dermawand!?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteYou sweet Derek do not need dermawand. Keep up with the sunscreen, stop smoking now and bath yourself in the love of your friends. You will always be gorgeous. Hair is greatly overrated BTW. You sexy, you sexy babay. Hair be damned.
ReplyDeleteSherry a pet is a loved one. No need to minimize it. They're part of our family and quite frankly are more worthy of our love than lots of people
ReplyDeleteAMEN TLP. our pets are our babies.
