This still pretty young B list mostly movie actor is an Academy Award winner/nominee. He also has had trouble getting parts the past few years. His significant other said it was because he looked older than he was and talked him into getting some botox. He loved the new look so much that he has now had botox multiple times and plastic surgery to his face and is completely changing the look that made him famous to begin with. He should talk to Jennifer Grey about how that worked for her with a little phone call to Keri Russell.
Adrian Brody
ReplyDeleteKeri's face doesn't look very jacked-up, if she's had work done I'd say it's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteThink he meant her cutting her hair off on felicity and it affecting her career
DeleteAdrien Brody doesn't look any different to me - as long as he keeps that honker.
ReplyDeleteHe was photographed with his mom the other day he looks the same and you can see mega wrinkles around his eyes
Daily Mail photo
No one beats Rourke though. His face seemed to be returning to some normalcy but he had to go and mess with it again.
I didn't see that pix..but yeah..I think he looks way different..wrinkles weren't his problem..he had heavy lids..eye were buggy...he's looks fresher to me
DeleteI'm sorry, I don't believe for one minute that Keri Russell's haircut had even the slightest impact on her career. Wigs exist. Giving an actress longer hair than she already has is a trivial task.
ReplyDeleteAll the talk about the haircut has to have been a cover for something else.
JAS, her career *was* Felicity at that point, and the haircut sent her fangurls/boyz into a spiral of angst.
DeleteThey tuned out, the show ended, and Keri had a very blank dance card.
Rookie mistake to not milk the show until something else comes along. See also Blake Lively, David Caruso, and half of telly Hollywood: if you wanna be in pictures, make sure your fans will follow you (eg, Clooney).
However, bonus conspiracy theory points to you! Certainly never occurred to me...
@Tina, I totally agree. That nose does things to me.
ReplyDeleteWell if he had work done, I would say it was subtle because that should be the goal looking refreshed not overhauled like Rourke. BUT if he ever messes with his nose, now it does look a little crooked in some pictures so straightening maybe but I say he should never touch that nose or he will be in the same trouble as Jennifer Grey. He is going to be in a TV movie about Houdini tonight, if this is him it might be evident there.
ReplyDeletethe nose is the giveaway clue.. ala jennifer grey
ReplyDeleteKeri's hair cut had a huge effect on Felicity, that was the last season of the show, and it is blamed on her change.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't the end of the show it carried on 2-3 more seasons but never recovered as many viewers as it once had. It was a great show!
DeleteThis.
DeleteHaley Joel Osmet he sees dead noses every where and sometimes they don't know they're dead.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me, if you aren't watching The Americans, you should be.
ReplyDeleteReally good show, Keri plays a Cold War spy, for the Russians in America.
...and this.
DeleteUrno Talbot, yeah, that's what they say. I'm just absolutely certain that it's bullshit. If they wanted her with long hair, they could have stuck a wig on her, and nobody would have known the difference.
ReplyDeleteIf -- and I say it's a big if -- the short hair really affected the series, the fault for that belongs to the producers who put her on the air.
But it's a hell of a lot more likely that there was some other problem and the haircut was used as an excuse.
JAS, unless you have some inside scoop, I'm not buying it.
DeleteYes, they could've put a wig in it (cue Beyoncé), but you're giving the producers too much credit for their ability to read the public, especially in that era.
It was the hair!
Also see Veronica Lake. Hair matters to the viewing public (or used to), and wigs didn't used to cut it.
DeleteI don't know why.
(Oh, look! I inadvertently made a funny!)
Oh the haircut overnight torpedoed her show and her career. It's taken the better part of 10 to 15 years for her to pick it back up. Do not fool yourselves.
ReplyDeleteNicolas Cage
ReplyDeleteI watched Felicity back in the day and COULD NOT believe that she cut her hair
ReplyDeleteIt was her "thing" and yes it totally derailed her career

It was a horrible haircut. Took forever to grow out
DeleteBrody just made bad choices in movies and women
ReplyDeleteLeo.
ReplyDeleteI never even watched Felicity and I remember people just losing their shit over her cutting her hair. I thought that was pretty pathetic. How good can a show be if that's enough to take the whole show down?
ReplyDeleteSince when does a man who starts to look old can't find work?
ReplyDeleteIt's a woman out in Hollywood who has to rush to get a procedure the second a laugh line appears.
I remember seeing a couple of girls crying at school talking about Felicity's haircut. That was and still is, the most ridiculous reaction of I've ever personally witnessed over a TV show or movie.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking maybe Tobey McGuire. I'll have to check the academy nominee part though.
ReplyDeletePlease Jennifer Anniston and Felicity were made on hair styles. You change them, it's over. Damage control has to be done. I remember Anniston cutting her bob on Friends. Mega mistake and she knew it.
ReplyDeleteI'm stumped still but I suppose some of these guesses are intended humorously. I don't think anyone could describe Brody, Leo, Cage, or Rourke (!??) as pretty or young. Has Renner changed his looks?
