Blind Item #4

The biggest diva on a new network show this year might not actually be Katherine Heigl. This B list mostly television actress, who also does some movies is getting another shot at network television in a lead role and has been making life miserable for the production assistants on the shows. Prepare for the wrath of our actress if her tea, two bags, with exactly 1 1/2 cups of water is not the proper temperature. The screaming can be heard throughout the entire set. Hair not up to her level? Well, two hair people have quit because of her tantrums and "suggestions." Our actress also can't walk from her trailer to the set even if it is 25 feet. She needs a golf cart and she needs at least two, preferably three people to accompany her to make her feel even more important.

  2. Well her show looks shitty so I'm sure she can crawl back to obscurity shortly.

  3. Yep. No messing with Messing.

  4. But apparently fame is an even worse drug Dolphy.

OT thank you to everyone who was so caring regarding my cat. Surprisingly she is still with us even after not having eaten in days. We're pretty much just getting water in her and carrying her around.

    1. Poor kitty! I hope that she recovers. Kisses from my four legged kids.

  5. Why do people act like that? I don't understand. She should be so grateful.

  6. I am really tired of the bitching and moaning of "assistants". you could leave hollywood and go be a barista at starbucks, ffs.

    Cry me a river, bitches.

  7. Glad for you Sherry. Cat's will do that. I thought mine was gone for sure when he took off for 3 weeks, but he came home with a boo boo on his leg and it healed and he's fine.

  8. lol yeah..i read the first 8 words of the blind and thought Messing. Does she know her reputation is this crappy?

    ReplyDelete
  9. @Sherry, are you doing the subcutaneous water injections? I had to do that with mine. It seems horrifying but the needle apparently doesn't even hurt them. Then they walk around with a huge water balloon on their neck for an hour, but it really helps. Best wishes for your kitty!

Oh, and Messing. The bus sign told us that. ;-)

    1. @Figgy, yes we are. Now Lucy needs the fluids too although 1/2 as much every other day. And I can get a few syringes of water in her several x a day as well. She's literally a bag of bones and we nicknamed her chubby for years.

  10. Messing's fall to obscurity is going to be glorious. If she is lucky, somebody will videotape her being terrible and it might be a big enough wake up call to get herself some rehab and real therapy. Then maybe she could have a comeback that people will cheer for. Not a lot of hope for that happening but stranger things...

  11. My first guess was Messing but could it be anyone else? Has she been in any movies recently?

Reviews for her new show are not good, if it is her then the crew won't be working with her for much longer

  12. Waiting for the moment karma hits Messing soon.

  13. Is Tea Leoni on cable?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not Messing. This has Tea Leoni written all over it. "tea, tea bags"

    ReplyDelete
  15. Michelle Trachtenberg

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yes @Tina Mallette, her new show is gonna be on CBS and her name is in the blind!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Tia Leoni has a new CBS show. Maybe the "tea" was a clue

  18. @Sherry, yeah for your cat. Hope she continues to improve.

I agree with the Messing guess. I sat behind her a few seasons ago (pre divorce) at the Dodger game. I was struck by 2 things 1) her nose is much larger than it looks on tv and 2) she is way more thin in real life than on tv. I know tv adds 10 lbs but it was more than that.

  19. So quick with the Messing-Hate around here :) She pretty regularly posts pics and videos of her and the production crew of her show goofing off during down-time. I'm sure there are some set workers that don't like her, but I certainly don't think she's as widely hated as some people seem to think. Just yesterday, she posted something about being stranded at an airport in South Carolina and took a picture of herself sitting on the airport floor in the terminal with her suitcase. Not very diva-like if you ask me.

    1. I follow her on FB and I've seen those goofy videos and pictures. I hope it isn't her. But...

  20. Not Messing. She doesn't have enough clout to do that and she needs a job after being laughed at for her last character.

Let me just throw in a name: Viola Davis. Listen to her interviews. She is an Angry Black Women. I love her but I can see her pitching a fit if she feels disrespected by "staff." I'm really looking forward to her new show. It sounds great and I hope it's a hit but Ms.Davis is no shrinking violet.

  21. @Sherry
I'm so glad that Ethel is still with you, but is Lucy sick now? Poor Sherry, you must be so worried. I feel for you.

  22. Tia Leoni is cray cray

Haven't heard much of her being a diva

But she does fit the clues

    ReplyDelete
  23. What about Selma Blair? Her IMDB page lists a pilot for a new series ('Really'), I'm not sure if it's network, though, or if she's the lead.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Tina Mallette
Well done, Tina. Tea Leoni is the lead in 'Madam Secretary' for CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm going to Tia. "Madame Sectary" looks like a big bag of fail. And it's so obvious that this is nothing more than hollywood prepping us for a Hillary run for the presidency.

And also the BIreveal about Tia throwing a bookcase on hubby's head.

  26. @Sherry, Yay Ethel. Mummy love & care are amazing.
Poor Little Lucy, more mum magic needed.
    Sending you all fab thoughts.

  27. @Sherry, do you also have a Fred and Ricky?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Mb its betty white. You dont wanna get btwn an oldster and her tea!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Tea leony or viola Davis were my immediate guesses.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Tea Leoni- Madam Secretary

    ReplyDelete
  31. People need to stop calling these women divas and call them what they are, bitches. "Diva" has an air of glamor. There's nothing glamorous about being nasty to everyone else.

As for the guess, it could be Viola or Debra but the "tea" is probably a clue so I'd go with Tea Leoni. Always found her and that ex husband of hers to be screwy. I remember back in the day they insisted he leave "The X-Files" (filmed in Vancouver) so he could be closer to L.A. where she filmed "The Naked Truth". Who dumps a sure thing like X-Files for some sitcom floundering in the ratings? it got cancelled right afterwards too.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't think this is Messing either, I've seen online pics of her walking to set with just one person with her. Tea Leoni

    ReplyDelete
  33. It seems they need a new stand in for Ms Leoni. I have a feeling this blind item is her.

  34. @Sherry. Thanks for update. I know it's so scary when pets are ill. If only they could speak!!!
Hoping it all works out the very best! Hang in there!

  35. Didn't I recently read a blind about actor with bruises and it was revealed that it was Duchovny and that Tea had tipped a bookcase on him after she found him drunk and passed out int he living room during their recent attempt at a reconciliation? If not here it was on another site. This could be her.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Sherry, are you assist feeding Ethel? You can thin a/d 4:1 and blend it with a spoon, put it in a 10 ml syringe and feed her orally. It's very tasty, most cats like it.

I worry about her getting feline hepatic lipidosis if she has lost so much weight ... cats have very inefficient livers and their livers can get overwhelmed and not function very well when a cat's not getting sufficient nutritional support. It causes inappetance and in the late stages, the skin will become yellow.

Sorry if this advice is unwelcome... just thought I'd post it in case it helps.

  37. Messing times infinity.

  38. I'd love to know what Bebe Neuwurth thinks of Tea. She's on the new show but then again she worked with Kelsey.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Either Messing or Leoni.

The commercial that NBC is doing for Messing's show featuring 3 actresses from the 3 police shows on that night is awful. I'm embarrassed for Mariska Hargatay having to be in it.

  40. When I saw Debra Messing at a polo match in New York about four years ago she was not skinny - she was quite heavy, I'd say she was like a size 8 or a 10, which isn't "fat" for most people but was for her at the time.

I was shocked. Maybe she was sober at the time (Coke Mom?) and packed on the pounds, who knows.

She didn't have an active show at the time.

  41. @Figgy, I am very sorry to hear about your kitty. My Monkey cat had fatty liver disease, six years ago and he's still alive. Instead of water, I forced plain Pedialyte. I also force fed him with the same method as Prunella except I used a food processor and added a little Milk Thistle extract. I did this every 2 to 3 hours. He also was on antibiotics. It took a month but he got better. I also left his favorite food out for him because he hated the a/d and he needed to eat more than he needed special food.

Just thinking about it makes me all teary. But he's now 17. I hope this helps. HUGS

  44. There's a wonderful yahoogroups list called "FelineAssistedFeeding" that I think saved my cat's life many years ago - and my sanity.

They don't like to use the term "force feeding" because that has such negative connotations, and in fact if the cat is actually being forced to eat it can lead to food aversion - sometimes for life. I prefer the friendlier term "assist feeding."

The great thing about FHL (aka FLD or fatty liver disease) is that the cure for it is very simple - calories and lots of them. The liver will heal itself given enough time (=nutritional support). Unfortunately FHL/FLD make the cat feel nauseated and they don't want to eat. In my cat's case, we ended up putting in an e-tube and feeding her through that. It bypasses the mouth and throat so you don't trigger the nausea because their sense of smell/taste and the swallow reflex are all avoided, it goes directly into the esophagus (the E of E-tube) and then into the stomach. Saved her life.

But really, if you want to get some calories into your cat - and that WILL extend her life - join that list and post about your cat and the ladies on there (and some men too) will be very helpful.

  45. Does no one on this set have a phone? (Going with Messing, Leoni would be mostly movie...)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Messing is annoying. High opinion of herself. For what, dunno. Love "Will & Grace" despite her. I wonder why such a diva doesn't get that shnoz fixed. She's a bit long in the tooth to play self-centered cutie-pies.

  47. Tea Leoni? After that reveal about the bookshelves from yesterday(?) I believe the woman is batshit crazy.
