Blind Item #3

This female director making her big debut with a movie later this year had a six month long casting couch situation where she basically turned this former B list mostly television actress who has fallen on hard times into her sex slave for the run of production. The actress was not getting any offers from anywhere because of her issues so agreed, but now that the film is close to release is blackmailing the director and distributor for more money or she will tell her story to the tabloids.

  4. Nobody in the Jolie film fits the B tv actress description.

  5. This is not Jolie's debut, and her film won't be coming out later this year, it just started shooting.

  6. Penny Marshall is at it again.

  8. The one directing 50 shades of Grey? Sam Taylor-Wood?

  9. Mischa doesnt fit either. So lets all start over...

    1. This was my guess too. It is being promoted as her first big turn as director no? The book was awesome

  13. Yes Angie has had a couple movies, I think there has been more than just In The Land of Blood & Honey.

  19. Karen Leigh Hopkins - Miss Meadows. Katie Holmes...BIG REACH since Palo Alto was released and I obviously didn't care enough about it to pay attention.

  20. I don't think there are many female roles in Jolie's "Unbreakable". WWII P.O.W. escape flick set in the Pacific Theater. Don't expect the movie to turn into the musical South Pacific under A.J.s helming.

  21. i defer to you, the all knowing blind queen, @Tricia

  22. Yeah Tricia, tell us!!! lol.

  23. Coppola/Roberts fits but... isn't Emma's career a bit better than stooping to the casting couch?

  25. This might explain why Cate Blanchett's husband is so fugly.

  26. Angelina wouldn't have to blackmail for a sex slave.

  27. Pitch perfect is next year. Jolie has her lovers on staff.
What's Jodi foster directing these days. .

Palo Alto is coppolas like 5th movie she's directed. Not her

  29. I hope she goes to the police. Women get away w/ rape and sexual abuse all to often. I would like to see this director perp walked down the red carpet.

  30. The only who directed 50 shade

    ReplyDelete
  31. It isn't the 50 shades woman coz 50 shades isn't her debut film. It also isn't Jodie Foster or Jolie since even if they are/were releasing a film this year it wouldn't be either of their debuts as director. (Unless you're only counting English language films then Jolie's Unbroken would be her debut since her 1st film was in Serbian I think)

This feels like it should be easy to work out since there aren't that many female directors to start with, let alone ones making their debut. Unless we are stretching the word debut to not actually mean what it does.

  32. Well, if I were the young actress, and that desperate, I'd figure about halfway into filming the director couldn't afford to replace me, so I'd stop the sexual favors then and laugh in her face.

  33. Paz de la Huerta has a movie finished, directed by a female who has only done shorts. Not slated to come out until next year though. Shrug.

  34. Why would the director worry about being outed? Or is she more worried about being outed as a predator?

  38. Sam Taylor-Johnson married the young actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Savages, Anna Karenina) & they took each others surnames. She directed him in the John Lennon movie "Nowhere Boy". I doubt a closeted lesbian gets a handsome actor 20 years her junior to fall head over heals in love with her.

  39. ^ What lazyday603 said. If she was gonna go for a bearding situation I doubt she would go for one that she's taken so much shit for (because of the age difference). Having said that....Way to go Sam!!!
