This former A list mostly movie actress who kind of fell off the planet when she and the A list mostly television actor got divorced more than a decade ago has had her chances to work. Really famous for one iconic movie, the actress recently got a chance to star in an independent movie with a small budget and a great script. The budget was tiny but our actress wanted two separate trailers and cakes, yes cakes, delivered three times a day each day of shooting and had specific dimensions and flavors for each cake. Yeah, the producers passed and ended up landing two Academy Award winners/nominees for the lead roles.

ReplyDeleteKim is a great guess, 91/2 weeks being the iconic movie...but is she known for being a diva, or downing cakes every day? Seems odd.

ReplyDeleteKirstie Alley is pretty high profile and after two TV shows I wouldn't think she would fit the mostly movie actress description. I have a hard time picturing Kim B eating cake.

ReplyDeleteKim Basinger is a good guess, but (though I highly doubt she is this petty) it could be Helen Hunt. Unlike Kim, she really did have only one memorable film role until her latest nomination for The Sessions. And even more so than Baldwin, Azaria is mostly TV. Then again they were only married a year, and I don't think the breakup hurt her career as this blind implies.

ReplyDeletei doubt the subject is kim basinger, because enty usually (i believe) states that the person is an Academy Award nominee/winner. on the other hand... maybe in this case enty left out that detail, figuring it would make kim too obviously the answer.?
