100 Celebrities Have Their Phones Hacked And Naked Photos Posted Online

One way to liven up a Labor Day weekend is for a hacker to post hundreds of photos he stole from over 100 celebrities' phones. Most of the photos are naked pics and so far only a few of the 100 people named have had their photos released. Jennifer Lawrence started it all off and since then the list has only grown longer. At some point during the night, the hacker stopped posting them. I don't know if this means he was discovered and busted or if he got scared he was going to be busted or he needed a new place to post the photos. For the most part all of the photos that have been posted have been confirmed as real. There was one person, Victoria Justice, who claims the photos of her are not real. The thing that is crazy to me is that one of the actresses who admits the photos of her posted are real says she took and deleted the photos from her phone years ago. It just shows you that even when you think something is deleted from your iPhone that it still might be in the Cloud waiting for someone to find it. I saw a lot of clamoring for men's photos to be hacked too, and I wonder if there will be some equal opportunity hacking of men and if the internet traffic for those photos would be as high as it has been for the women. The photos were stolen. The women did not ask for anyone to look at them. These are not screen grabs from a movie where they got paid to be naked. These are photos they expected would remain private and now they are out for the world to see. Representatives for several of the women say they will prosecute anyone who posts the photos. It sounds great, but they can't and they would not win a lawsuit either.

  1. woohoo Jlaw is super hot!!! Let the reveals begin! Victoria Justice looked good too but I couldn't navigate that 4chan website so well. It's a mess.

  2. - The folks on 4Chan put together enough info that the hacker might feel like he was ID'ed. If 4Chan is right, it's a 15-year old intern at a web shop

    - Victoria Justice can say they're fake all she wants, but there's a bunch of evidence pointing out how wrong she is on that front.

  3. Again, do not take intimate pics without considering it could be viewed by the world.

  4. That makes sense because most of the girls on the list I saw were Disney and Nickelodeon tweener girls before moving on. There is NO WAY that isn't Victoria Justice.

  5. You need to read The Circle by Dave Eggers. It's a bit extreme but super scary as far as making you rethink all the information that you might have 'out there' without even realising it, accessible to god knows who.

Women have sex and are naked under their clothes!! Who knew? Scandalous. (whilst not wanting undermine the privacy aspect of this whole thing)

  9. Actually, people own the rights to their own images; and the photographer owns the copyright. This is a crime.

  10. I can understand many of the pics, but the Kate Upton one with the jizz over her back is more porn than anything. I'm OK with that, but I don't understand why she would keep it or even make it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Sandy, as one of the actresses said she did all that. The problem is that things don't really stay deleted in the age of the "cloud". You can delete every trace of it from your phone, computer, delete your account on the cloud, but it's still somewhere out there ready to be hacked a year or 2 after you deleted them.

  12. Kermit, as I understand it the photos didn't come from her phone but from her boyfriends. It would explain why pictures were posted of other women besides Upton. Someone on Reddit posted one of the videos from the collection of Upton stuff and it was some other girl talking to the person holding the phone. She said "Justin" which is Kate's boyfriend. I'd venture a guess that he's in for a bit of yelling over the next few days.

  13. Sorry for three post in a row, but I was thinking about this and thought I'd toss it out there.

I understand the instinct many people have to say, "I've never sent my significant other photos or videos like that!" The thing is, us "regulars" take for granted what our lives are like. For most people you wake up in the morning, roll over and see the person you love most in the world. You get up and both get ready for work, you go downstairs and have a cup of coffee, kiss each other and drive off to work. While you're at work you might talk to one another over the phone at least once during the day. Maybe it's to tell your SO that Jenny is having a party on Saturday, and your SO wants to know if they should tell Jenny you'll be there. Then you go home, kiss each other, talk about your day, eat dinner together, then you curl up on the couch with the person you love most in the world and watch a little TV. Then you go upstairs, if you're lucky you will have sex, then you go to bed right next to the person you love.

That's not how it is for actors or musicians. For actors you can be off in another country shooting a movie over 2 or 3 months. If you're dating another working actor then it becomes extremely difficult to get together, even if for a day. So you have to talk on the phone, you have to video chat, but you're scared that the person you love is forgetting about you. Or they're so frustrated that they have to go a month without being with you that they stray. So what do you do? You take some photos to show them you care, to show them what they'll get when you're done filming.

I don't blame them for taking these photos. They're in a hotel room alone, they're away from the person they love for very long stretches, so they do whatever they can to keep the spark alive between them.

Alright, that's enough of my rambling. It's just something I was thinking about since this story broke.

Your stuff is accessible everywhere - for you and for everybody else. I wonder how long it will be before 'the cloud' is out of fashion and people start to store things locally-only again.

They all commented that they saved any naked photos they came across. So keep that in mind next time you bring your laptop, phone or any other electronic device in to be repaired.

  27. MCKayla Maroney's are "faked". They were taken from her instagram. The first one, she is cropped out and it's just her face and it sort of looks like she was naked but she was in a strapless bikini. The topless one was "flipped" and the bikini was photoshopped out. They forgot to flip her mole on her upper chest. The third one, they photoshopped her bikini bottoms out to make it look like a gstring. It sucks because since jlaw's are confirmed to be real, it makes it look like everyone's are real.

  32. I'm not judging any of you for looking. I am extremely tempted, myself, so I understand. But the thing that is getting to me is the lack of empathy about how horrible this must be for the women. Not just here but pretty much everywhere. Yeah, I know, they should have been more aware of what they were sending out to the cloud but how horrible this must feel to them. And also, can we put some sort of blame on the basement dweller who posted them?

I am nothing like a celebrity but if any pics of me getting freaky (and boy do I) were put out there for even a hundred people to see, I would feel so fucking violated. This really is a violation in so many ways for these women and I am not telling you to stop looking I am just saying please try to remember that these are humans who feel things and they did not sign up to make public porn. They took these pics for their partners and only their partners.

If I were any one of these girls,
I probably would have taken like 20 showers and scrubbed my skin raw by now. It would probably also make me feel weird about having sex with anybody else in the future. Maybe not, some people can deal with this kind of thing better than other people (Kim K, for instance) but I guarantee that a lot of these women are crying and feeling very unsafe and violated right now. I fully admit, though, that this thought is the only thing that stops me from looking. So, I am in no way saying that I am better than anybody who is looking I just want to ask that you hold some empathy while you do.

Okay, just wanted to get that out. Now let the roasting of my bleeding heart begin. I am prepared and can take it (in more ways than one, rawr).

    2. Why I'm angry about Jennifer Lawrence's nudes being leaked.
[Copied] "Anonymous said: Why are you so angry about JLaw's nudes being leaked? I thought you didn't like her.

    - i am angry because this is just another example of women being shamed for taking nudes instead of the douchebag who spreads them being shamed for violating someone’s privacy like that
    - i am angry because nobody deserves this, regardless of how i feel about their personality
    - i am angry because this is pure misogyny and shows how women aren’t respected in our culture
    - i am angry because she did not consent to having those pics posted everywhere but they still were
    - i am angry because on the VERY RARE occasion this happens to a male celeb he is not shamed but rather the perpetrator is and it’s forgotten quickly whereas this will haunt jennifer for years and years to come
    - i am angry because this was a sex crime and people are treating it like a joke
    - i am angry because she is being exploited/objectified and some gross dudebros are probably jacking off to those pics
    - i am angry because people are CONGRATULATING the fucker who did such an atrocious thing to her instead of being appalled

listen i may not like her personally but the fact remains that as a human being she is entitled to body autonomy and to choose who sees her naked body and who doesn’t"

  45. Also, I totally understand wanting to share something with a significant other while you are parted- I was in the military for 20 years and was often parted from my spouse. But celebrities, even more so than the rest of us regular folks, HAVE to be aware of the risks they are taking when they engage in this kind of behavior. And I'm not saying their behavior is wrong or that I disapprove, just that it entails risks. Even back when we used Polaroids, you were taking a risk that your partner might be indiscreet and show them around to his buddies. So: take naked pics, don't be surprised if they show up for public consumption.

  61. Yoj:
I empathize completely. My curiosity has gotten the best of me before, so I understand those who didn't stop and really think about what they were doing before they looked at the leaked images. It was genuinely hard not to click on that 4chan link, but I felt awful by just thinking about how those women must be feeling right now. And I knew I didn't want to contribute to their suffering - because it is suffering. On what level a non-affected person might deem the suffering to be, is, in this instance, not that relevant.

Unfortunately, some of the pictures did pop up on Twitter when I was scrolling through the news feed related to the topic. Despite not actively nor intentionally searching for them, I instantly felt genuine shame and remorse for seeing them; knowing full well that this was not only without their consent, but also against their wishes/will. I knew there was a chance some of the pictures could pop up if I clicked on the topic-related news feed, and I should've waited until they were removed.

    Rome:
"There exist something worse, therefore this is not bad" is a logical fallacy. Rationalizations are seldom rational. Your lack of empathy and rational reasoning when it comes to this issue, will perhaps make you more comfortable with viewing the leaked images - but it won't make it any less wrong.

In the words of Clementine Ford: "[...] If you deliberately seek out any of these images, you are directly participating in the violation not just of numerous women’s privacy but also of their bodies. These images - which I have not seen and which I will not look for - are intimate, private moments belonging only to the people who appear in them and who they have invited to see them. To have those moments stolen and broadcast to the world is an egregious act of psychic violence which constitutes a form of assault.

The people sharing these images are perpetuating an ongoing assault. The people gleefully looking at them are witnessing and enjoying an ongoing assault. When you have been asked by victims of a crime like this not to exacerbate the pain of that crime and you continue to do so anyway, you are consciously deciding that your enjoyment, your rights and perhaps even just your curiosity are more important than the safety and dignity of the people you’re exploiting."

    Keetz4:
I see your point, but I believe this has very little to do with hubris or intelligence. Ordinary people do this, famous people do this; because people in general - from all walks of life - have a tendency of feeling safe to do private things in private without someone actually deliberately violating their privacy. Even Fridtjof Nansen was guilty of this. The outrage, ridicule and, most importantly, the blame, should be directed at the perpetrator/s - not the victim/s. Lena Dunham said: "The 'don't take naked pics if you don't want them online' argument is the 'she was wearing a short skirt' of the web." I agree with her.

  73. "NO SUCH THING AS DELETE!"

OK, since I deal with these procedures as one of my day jobs, here's the real deal"

--Overwrite your data with random hash 20+ times, gauss-wipe it, physically destroy the storage medium (e.g., smash the hard drive with a hammer) and dispose of the pieces in separate secure-destruct bins...maybe the NSA won't be able to recover the data. Maybe.

--Triple-zero overwrite your data, which you have religiously stored encrypted with a high-security password...it's effectively deleted against 99.9% of recovery methods.

Remember, in almost all cases personal data gets hacked because of poor security practices by the user, not the product designer or service provider.

    ReplyDelete
  74. In this case it was partial user lack of security, and partial Apple's.

I saw the code for the penetration program used. It was a simple brute force pass hack targeting people with simple pass hashes. Everyone who got cracked did not use a password over 5 characters, and did not use special characters. That doesn't excuse Apple for not implementing security measures over three decades old, though. Utter laziness there.

  75. As I said, poor security practices by the user. If Apple forced iCloud users to use high-security passwords, it would blow their support costs through the roof and drive away customers. Unless you have the leverage to enforce proper security practices, users will be idiots in how they handle digital security. That's a given.

  78. I'm sorry people, but my husband and I were often separated by work when we were newlyweds. I sent him photos often, of my daughter and I, FULLY CLOTHED! We would never have even thought of naked pictures!! Going on 24 years of marriage.

  79. I'm not inclined to feel sorry for anybody who takes naked pics of themselves that then get exposed, if you'll pardon the pun. It can't happen unless you yourself bring the "evidence" into being. What IS this compulsion people have to get naked and then document it?

I don't have the experience to warrant speculating about people's motives, but I'd hazard a guess that it happens more amongst my generation (I'm 31) and those following because they've grown up with easy access to internet porn. Imagery is now a major part of how they express their sexuality.
Feel free to chime in and correct me, though.

  82. Nothing good came up today, Shinobi. All I saw tonight were teasers. Some screencaps of a JLaw titty shaking clip. Screen cap of a folder of BBT Penny w/ like 15pic and 5 videos in it. I'd say the pics looked risque, but nothing X-Rated, probably not even R.

Wait. Some alleged AI broad Tenna Torres and alleged Aubrey Plaza bent over pussy pics, thought the only thing attributable to Aubrey is the panties she is wearing. Nice, waxed hindquarters whoever it is. Aubrey is a saucy broad, she should cop to em. It would up her Q rating.

Apple's Find My iPhone app is said to be the culprit in many of these. Hackers found a glitch where it didn't lock out after 5 failed log in attempts, so they just put a program on to run a dictionary worth of words through until one hit. Apple has said they fixed a bug.

I think Upton and JLaw are looking to sue Apple, but Upton didn't get hacked, Verlander did, so she don't have a case, he does. I bet she is disappointed.

I realize you're busy collating and categorising your new celebrity wank material, but that doesn't mean that you can ignore Random Photos, Count. Without you there to take the heavy hits, I'M being accused of causing offence.

  84. Nah, I downloaded a zip file that has everything sorted. Reddit deleted the threads I was following, so I'm searching for a new source.

If Fugazi Enty doesn't delete your comments, then you are OK. The site owner is the only one whose definition of "offensive" matters.

  88. Hmm, yer puttin me on the spot here. Alleged Gomez titties were very nice, but not the top of the crop.

    Gotta go with this ranking:

    1) Bar - spread cheeks, lovely hairless snatch and shit pipe, bonus points for grooming appliance insertion

    2) JLaw - those photos did nothing to hurt her. If anything they confirmed the fact that she seems like a fun chick you would want to knock back a few drinks and get naked with. Plus, if that is her in the short BJ clip, my cock prolly aint to small for her.

    3) SellyG - Very happy to see them titties. Wish the rumored "topless doing lines" pic was in there. Just titty and mouth close ups dragged her down the list.

    4) Allison Brie - if those 3 pics are actually of her, she has spectacular tits and a sweet body.

    5) Maroney - her ass is stunning. part of an encounter with her would be to tell her to squeeze her buttcheeks together, and I'll try to force my pee pee between them to get to her stinkhole.

    Honorable Mentions:

Penny - she hot, and I would have liked to see the other content, but I'm only 50/50 on whether the pix of her lovely tush were real.

Justice - beautiful tits on that lil bim, I just don't know if the pussy pic was real.

Plaza - The alleged pussy and butt pics were stellar, but only the censored screen cap of the bathroom finger bang was a HUGE let down. If that full vid ever went live, this broad would probably be on top of the list.

    Parting thoughts:

Munn allegedly with one pic of a pecker in her wasn't enough new content. I am a bigger fan of her previous hacked photos.

None of the broads w/ leaked pics have anything to be ashamed of. They are all hot, and they weren't doing anything wrong. It aint like they were shooting up or orgying or anything. There were no desperation pics of a Demi Moore or LiLo flailing away, via texted photos, in attempt to lure a dude into fillin them full of ball snot.

It was all hot young broads getting naked and having fun, exactly what they should be doing. Live it the fuck up when yer young. If yer gonna document the fun though, go with a password protected thumb drive or a DVD marked Billy's First Soccer Game. No one gonna put that in to watch if they are looting yer house.

LOL "bonus points for grooming appliance insertion", I'll remember that 'til my dying day, Count.
No surprise that Aubrey Plaza is hot stuff. She's smart and funny and doesn't take herself seriously. I, and many other women, would fully approve of her replacing a drama-addicted coke head as your new crush.
But, can I plead with you to find a more appealing term than "shit pipe" and "stink hole"? They don't exactly inspire passionate thoughts in a woman.

  90. Another problem with the Cloud is it might suddenly go away, along with all your data. The Feds busted the cloud website Megaupload.com and had its owner arrested in a SWAT takedown in New Zealand, due to alleged complicity with users who uploaded pirated content.

The problem was plenty of people used it legitimately, had work files or their personal, legal stuff stored there privately. When the takedown happened, everyone lost access to their files. No customers were allowed to retrieve (or delete) anything -- the Feds have access to it all, but you still can't get it back.

    @Liddy: Thank you for noticing.

@Yoj: Not using overly vulgar words would take the fun out of it.
