What demographic does "Girls" play to? Young women who should be much more fit and healthy at their age? Ones who ramble on with annoying, pointless angst? Two good reasons to look away.

Seriously - we should not be striving to cover up cellulite, as it is pretty commonplace.
ReplyDeleteBut, just so you know, I try not to wear shorts less than right-above-knee to curtail public "cottage cheese" comments. I don't want to invite that kind of opinion.
I care more about what the show offers us. The most important focus is on the human experience and what we can take from that.
I wore a shortish skirt today - above the knee - and a bit risque for a woman my age with heavy thighs. After seeing Lena Dunham in borderline Daisy Dukes I regret nothing.

ReplyDeleteLena, those shoes are not right with your outfit. Think in terms of proportion when you select your pieces- a chunkier shoe would have been better.
