I don't find Seth funny at all. I keep wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt & say he is just trying to develop his schtick but it is painful to watch his show.
Exactly. Wendy is and has always been extremely open and vocal about the fact that she will NEVER leave her house without one for her entire adult life and never has. (She has some form of thyroid disease which thins her natural hair a lot.)

Kill: Tom Cruise. First I'd torture him by hiding his Herman Munster shoes and whitening strips, then I'd lock him in his sauna and turn it up to Thetan level 7.

Re Emmys on Monday - 2 things:
ReplyDelete1. NBC has them this year, which means they're earlier than normal to avoid conflict with Sunday Night Football.
2. As luck would have it, the MTV Video Music Awards are this Sunday, and presumably the Emmys didn't want to go against that.

Yep. On DM I commented to their picture and statement that Wendy was wigless- not a chance. (Never heard if tbe reference pertaining to her hubby being absent, but...I can see it)
ReplyDeleteRe; Selma and Bl - passed out at outdoor market, I too said, "ah ha!", but the read that she's always at these markets with her son. The bl didn't mention that. And then the rating doesn't fit either.

ReplyDeleteSeth Meyers wasn't on MadTV. His almost twin brother Josh was a regular cast member.
If the Emmys are live on the West Coast (5:00pm), many of us will still be at work. If we wait for an 8:00 replay, we'll already know the winners thanks to the internet, so why bother?
ReplyDeletePlus, many of the schools (at least on the West Coast), don't start until after Labor Day. Families are on vacation now.
I can't imagine the TV people were happy about NBC's move to Monday. Current TV series would normally shoot or rehearse on Mondays. Any nominees need to spend the day primping instead.

btw- Rumors about her and Big Kev are LEGENDARY in NYC! She's WAY more scandalous than ANYBODY she reports on! The cheating on both sides and fist fights between the 2 of them are well known!
