Off Topic

I believe that all bodies of water including pools, lakes and oceans should be as warm as bath water.

  1. If you pee in it, it will be.

    1. And, if we all do our part, just think how warm it will be!

  7. I've been waiting on this OT and I hate to be this person but...

How can people say they want equality and open discussions and then shut down and delete comments that don't agree with their one sided opinion/view? Seriously. Why can't we all just get along and acknowledge that we have the right to disagree with each other sometimes? That no single person on this planet is on the correct side of every single issue?!? That none of us are effing perfect!!?!

Ok, thanks for letting me get that off my chest! I would have said this to the person but they blocked me.

    1. They only want equality on their terms, that completely agrees with their outlook. After all, they *know* what's right and true.

    2. I did NOT block you, Jennifer!!! ;)

  8. Also I disagree with this OT bc when you live somewhere sweltering or work outside all day, you don't want to jump in bath water to cool off.

I didn't think it was possible to delete someone else's comments. Did that happen to you?

  12. This was on another website but yes, anyone who has the password to this site can delete comments. They will completely vanish without a trace - no "This comment has been deleted" with the poster's name.

"They will completely vanish without a trace" DUN DUN DUN !! Seriously, though, what an arrogant thing for someone to do.

  14. When it's 115 outside, the colder the pool water the better!

  15. Also agree Jennifer. Sometimes we need to just let others comments slide or at the very least, respond politely when they disagree.

  16. But if that were to happen, then that would mean global warming would be at an all time high. Fish would die, and there would no longer be cold water salmon oil produced, from up in Alaska.

Also...sharks love warm water, which means sharks would be everywhere and people would get eaten left and right.

I'm going to have to disagree Enty. You should forget that idea and just get a heated pool.

  17. Ot-im still blown away by the beheading of journalist in middle east. What is wrong with that group? Their actions are anti-humanity! Is there some sort of brain virus over there? Do they want to return to the middle ages? I just cant wrap my brain around this action. Its like nazi germany type behavior.

    1. That poor man and his family. That's our new world of indoctrinated hatred and hyper violence, liddy. I know a guy who has to authenticate all the cartel murder videos. You would be shocked at how many people ASK him to view them. We are so desensitized to this shit, it's disgusting. HeisenHugs to the Foley family.

    2. Lady H I have a friend (or should change to had) that sent me the Foley video when it first was released so I didnt know what it was. I can not begin to describe my feelings of shock and horror when I realized what I was watching. I think about it every few hours and just want to give in to the tears. But what really shocked me was that he had sent this as a group email and several people had positive replies to it. I dont understand how people can be so heartless. My heart breaks for the Foleys

    3. Oh my, SusieQ. It's all just very disheartening. We have developed such an appetite for and desensitization to violence. I'm so sorry that you had to unwittingly view that. HeisenHugs! <3

  18. No. Too-warm water has been causing problems in my neck of the woods (or my bend in the coast).
