Let's see Jennifer Lawrence run up steps the way Sarah just did.
ReplyDeleteJen is made of fewer molecules.and floats too much .it never ends well
DeleteThe band is bad, like try and name that tune bad.
ReplyDeleteRicky was hilarious.
I'm glad Sarah won, her special was hella funny.
ReplyDeleteSarah looked amazing btw! Love Love Love Hardwick too!!
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else feeling that this whole show is extremely uncomfortable to watch? I usually stick to golden globes and oscars so I'm new to the Emmys but damn, it really sucks!
ReplyDeleteI think they need alcohol like the Golden Globes. Something is off. I blame Julia Roberts.
DeleteNot just you Jessi - painfully slow! Especially without clips of the work they are winning for, just presenters & acceptance speeches! :/
DeleteI'll back you up on that and blame Julia as well!!
Deletewhat did I miss---did Adam Driver win yet?
ReplyDeleteNada Hun
ReplyDeleteJessica Lange buzzed per usual
Oh wait..my Ricky gervais presented:))
!*sigh*
Me three
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's pretty bad when Miranda Kerr shampoo commercials are more entertaining than the show itself.
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS blame Julia!
ReplyDeleteJesse Pinkman!
ReplyDeleteAll I aaron lovers!
ReplyDeleteYEAH BITCH!
ReplyDeleteJesse Pinkman!!! Yay.
ReplyDeleteOk it just got a little better!!! Aaron Paul!! Woot woot

Is anyone still here? Or is this thread dead?
ReplyDeleteI'm here yoj....a few of us are
ReplyDelete@yoj tribute to Robin Williams--dare I say none of us were on our cell phones
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteDerek
Robin Williams and Bob Hoskins both co-starred in Steven Spielberg's Hook. The two remaining co-stars Dustin Hoffman and Julia Roberts are alive. Robin and Dustin used to call Julia "Tinkerhell" on set due to her diva antics.
ReplyDeleteWTF was that stupidity that Sofia V was doing? What a twat.
ReplyDeleteThat was really quite lovely Billy.
ReplyDeleteBen Affleck & Coke Mom...too much, too much!
ReplyDeleteTinkertwat I heard.
ReplyDeleteShe's toxic
here comes entys girlfirend
ReplyDeleteI don't know how Billy got through that. I didn't make it to the end before I was crying. Imagining how awful this is for Robin's loved ones
ReplyDeleteThe trailer for Gone Girl might be the best thing we see all night.
ReplyDelete@derek harvey
ReplyDelete@Tricia S
Emmys aren't televised here, tonight, but I've got a live feed set up.
Lady H. must be happy re. Aaron Paul!
I think that his..acting/professionalism took over@TLP
ReplyDeleteNo choice
I've only just turned it on, so I didn't realize about the tribute.
ReplyDeleteBilly looked like he was on the verge of tears the whole time. Heartfelt words.
ReplyDeleteNot feeling the French braids.
ReplyDeleteBut they're so pretty.
Delete@yoj....you are a dedicated one:)
ReplyDeleteGood on ya:)
it is awful--kinda random at maybe irrelavnt but I read that Robins daughter was internet bullied after his death --ignorant people saying things like "why didn't you message your dad back etc" and Fances Bean came to meet her in person and they are chillin
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is going to be a Breaking Bad night. :)
ReplyDeleteBilly did so well.
ReplyDeleteis that the next Paz according to enty?
ReplyDeleteShe looks great...I don't buy her as the out of rehab one...and she's there.....I think my JJ guess was spot on!
ReplyDeleteWhy did anyone think she had addiction problems...cuz she's slender?
@Tricia S
ReplyDeleteCouldn't care less about Emmys, just missed you all!
What's with the ticker..."ten minutes to Julia Roberts"... Is this so we know when to pee? Put a load of clothes in the dryer? Post on CDAN?
ReplyDeleteYes Tricia it would have to be. There was some picture of the K whores acting like assholes and the Beyoncé flashing her cooch at the VMAs and then there's Billy. I'll take the latter anytime.
ReplyDelete*frances bean
ReplyDeleteAwwwww@ yoj..most of us don't care either...just here for comrade tie...and Julia Roberts bashing!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Anna Gunn & Debra Messing will do backstage?
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure commericals in Canada are waaay lamer
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute Billy
ReplyDeleteAnd my favorite part...Ricky gervais was a presenter(he's my....mad crush f
ReplyDeleteOf last 10 years)
@Dena---fight over the next open stall?
ReplyDeleteOh to be a fly on that stall wall!
DeleteHave they let Julia take over?
ReplyDelete@Tric--totally LOVE HIM (of course ; ) * but missed that segment----is there a host this year? I missed 2/3 of it ( aka the lame parts)
ReplyDeletemy idol! ; )
ReplyDeleteYes doll..Seth Meyers is the host
ReplyDeleteshould have been Richard E Grant GIRLS and Gaby Hoffman GIRLS
ReplyDeleteRicky lost his category:( but presented as well
ReplyDeleteI don't mind him at Tric but didn't watch so cant judge
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteGrant was amazing..as always...I love him in period pieces more tnough
(seth Meyers) obvs where is lady h?
ReplyDeleteGirl would it kill you to for once dress your age and not like a 65 year old grandmother of the bride!!!!
ReplyDeleteRicky Gervais changed my viewing habits forever. I haven't been able to watch a sitcom since 'The Office' was first televised. It just made everything else look so old fashioned.
ReplyDeleteI also fell in love with Tim.
I LOOOOVED him in Withnail and I
ReplyDeleteLove Ricky (Derrick anyone? Even made my husband cry) and Withnail and I is one of my all time faves. RIP Richard Griffiths
DeleteMy head was down when Heigl or-hiJACK your production-was onstage...how she look?
ReplyDelete@YOJ--AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!! Lena D has restored my faith in the tellie though
ReplyDelete@derek harvey
ReplyDelete'Withnail and I' is the best comedy, ever!
I was rambling on about Girls--how would I know lol
ReplyDelete@yoj..yes!!
ReplyDeleteI as well...and extras just solicited..I even have a small crush on Stephen merchant still
Like a 65 year old grandmother of the bride!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Cary Fukunaga won. His directing is the only thing that made 'True Detective' bearable for me.
ReplyDeletenever watched The Good Wife but my mom LOVES it so I am happy she won
ReplyDeleteDamn, those are some BEAUTIFUL nominees!!
ReplyDeleteshe is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful
ReplyDelete@Tricia S
ReplyDeleteI like your taste!
Have you seen 'Green Wing'? Merchant is great in that.
Damn, I wanted Robin Wright to win.
ReplyDelete@Jessi hey girl hey! xo
ReplyDeleteHeyyyyyyyy
DeleteMar gullies grew up in my town...
ReplyDeleteWho's beautiful? What am I missing?
ReplyDelete@Tric---cool---I never seen much she is in but you can tell she is a class act ; )
ReplyDeleteLady H. must be doing a Tom Cruise on her sofa!
ReplyDeleteClare Danes is really good on Homeland, but her character gets on my nerves.
ReplyDeleteShe is, and I've hated her crying face ever since My So Called Life.
DeleteYou are so right...it is exactly the same! I'm going to obsess on it from now on!
Delete@yoj...no...but he had a bit of a dud here this year...I forget name(unlike me) merchant I speak of..he wrote, produced, starred
ReplyDeleteWhat is with the wind chimes? Not feeling it. Glad Julianna won. Love me some Christine Baranski, such an underrated actress so I was glad to see a shout out. Totally agree with this being the most awkward, clumsy Emmy's ever.
ReplyDelete@Yoj--me duh.
ReplyDeleteand Juliannae Margulies---the past winner
ReplyDeleteWell, that goes without saying, Derek!
ReplyDelete@derek...very.....strong woman she is....serious though.
ReplyDeleteShe needs to do a lil mo comedy I think....find her inner...Amypoehler/Goldie hawn!!
No.
ReplyDeleteJulia drunk..couldn't handle loss.
ReplyDeleteCranston stand up...it's yours
you justknow Juliahas attempted to fuck em all
ReplyDelete@Jessi
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! If I wanted to see an "ugly cry" I'd look in the mirror.
Way to go Tinkertwat...quit bitchin'.
ReplyDeleteI like her outfit though
ReplyDelete@dena.....hahahaah
ReplyDeleteYes!!!! She's a f'ing mess!!!! Hilarious!!!
ReplyDeleteis it wrong i'm smug about mccoghnaheey not winning??
ReplyDeleteyeah heisenberg!!!
i hope bryan cranstan at least gets a kiss from the veep herself again...
DeleteOff Topic -
ReplyDeleteThis just flashed on my screen: 'Celebrity Big Brother recap. Gary Busey "responsible for introduction of Christianity to Istanbul in previous life"'
Texas Bongoes didn't win? Yay!
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, Cranston is amazing, but mccaughney had the best roll of all time!!!! He was Robbed!! Sorry, but Matthew should have won!
ReplyDeletepathetic ---worst show ever
ReplyDeleteyup it looks like it is written by a bunch of 10 yr olds
ReplyDeletewhy does modern family keep winning
ReplyDeletewhere is Lena and Adam?
ReplyDeletewhere is Lena and Adam?
ReplyDeleteWhy did Tip O'Neil present the best comedy award?
ReplyDeleteCranston! Sometimes they get it right. They noticed him early and often, I can sign off now. All is right with the world
ReplyDeleteGood night and thanks for the chat...
Night night:)
DeleteWhat the fuck!? Big-Jaw announces Modern Family as winner of best comedy - instead of Orange Is The New Black!? You're bad luck Big-Jaw. Go back to your stupid car collection.
ReplyDeleteDerek - Adam is shooting Star Wars in London.
'Night TLP
ReplyDelete@Jason Blue Eyes
ReplyDeleteAs excuses go, that's a pretty good one!
Forgive my ignorance, but who decides the Emmy winners? Is it an Academy, like the Oscars?
ReplyDelete100 years from now the film experts will unearth this vault of something called television. They'll think "how quaint"! Then they'll watch 7 seasons of Bryan Cranston and say "dayyuumm... that's what acting is."
ReplyDeleteDamn, Breaking Bad wins best drama. Nearly a clean sweep.
ReplyDeletenight T xo
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHH I just got back from dinner!!! Can't wait to watch!!!!!
ReplyDeletehow do you go to dinner during the emmys?? get take out. throw a pahhty!!
Deleteso I guess Adam didn't win----who beat him then?
ReplyDelete***spoiler alert***---your dream came true lol xoxooxoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad for Breaking Bad. Now off to Master Chef. Good night bitches and mitches.
ReplyDeleteLady H.! I was watching assuming that you were sitting on your sofa, with your popcorn, giddy with excitement!
ReplyDeletethe news cameon after ----BREAKING NEWS YALL Burger King and Tim Hortons may conglomerate-----ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteWell.. successful night.
ReplyDeleteMinimal Jroberts/no Eva longoria or any other rx DH who isn't relevant anymore(though I like felicity)/gervais was there/every kartrashian wasn't/Billy crystal spoke about robin....
Xx night all
The Emmy Awards are decided by television actors and crew people, who spend all year talking about how they don't watch TV. I've heard stories that many of them let their assistants and agents fill out their ballots. Just like every awards show now, I take the results with a huge grain of salt because there is soooooooo much politicking going on behind the scenes.
ReplyDeleteBut I still like to watch them for some reason.
At least that show won't be eligible next year. Time for Shameless to get in there and start winning some shit.
ReplyDeleteThat's it for me I'm going to now watch the Col-Bort Re-Port.
Yes...Gwen milligrams that show
DeleteThat what happens when u put a..sorta has been pop star at he Emmys ...like a Mormon in amsterdam..don't belong
Gwen *loves*
Deleteciao Jason---great to see ya around
ReplyDelete'Night Tricia. Take care.
ReplyDelete'Night Jason
ReplyDelete@FS
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. I wondered if it was the same demographic that votes for the Oscars, i.e. old white men.
@FS
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. I wondered if it was the same demographic that votes for the Oscars, i.e. old white men.
well guess you stuck with me Yoj
ReplyDeleteNite D..sleep well xx
DeleteAww, Derek, you know I loves ya.
ReplyDeleteThis so-called live feed hasn't been updated since 03:57 (it's now 04:09 here). Have I missed anything?
ReplyDeleteHow stoned IS Sarah Silverman?
ReplyDeleteshe had her weed vap in her purse.. she showed it on E! preshow.. get it girl.
DeleteIs anybody watching Sarah Silverman on E right now? She is such an ass. OMG. I just can't even....
ReplyDeleteMy man had a bad day at work so I treated him to Chang's For Two! Fancy!!! Oh I knew my show was gunna win!!! How could it not?!?! Yeah BITCH! I'm watching now. So excited.
ReplyDeleteI would have needed a strait jacket if BrBa didn't win anything
Sugarbread!
ReplyDeleteDid you see my Ginger gif?
This is how I picture her.
Is the show finished?
ReplyDeleteI am not a Silverman fan----never have been never will---she was decent in tis weird Candian movie with Michelle Willams ---but she acts like a little boy----yall think Mariah has has peter pan issues?
ReplyDeleteand wheres sandy boo?
ReplyDelete@Derek Harvey
ReplyDelete'Take This Waltz'?
I really like Sarah Polley's work.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE SARAH POLLEY---I AM CANADIAN YO
ReplyDeleteI am just disappointend that my show didn't get one award ------
ReplyDelete@derek harvey
ReplyDeleteLOL.
Is that part of the requirement for citizenship? Do they test immigrants on their knowledge of Cronenberg's work, too?
oh I have had enough Elaine for this lifetime
ReplyDeletenah there are plenty of dumb Cavs here too ya know
ReplyDeleteI prefer the term kevin and sharons
ReplyDelete@derek harvey
ReplyDeleteMaybe 'Girls' is just not for the conventional middle-of-the-road voter, Derek. If these people are voting for 'Modern Family' every year, then they clearly don't respect anything contemporary.
I know I KNOW.....
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteSorry.
k well better moisturize and go to bed ---xo
ReplyDelete'Night, Derek. Take care x
ReplyDeleteyoj.. yes i saw that last time.. i love that show.. used to watch it all the time w/ my dad..

ReplyDeletetoday is officially heisenbergs day.. oh and alexander skarsgard bday. so lucky all around..
and what @subr no condolences that MY SHOW didn't win a single award? : (
ReplyDelete; ) night mah lady friends--just so mad Adam Driver didn't win-------but THERE ARE MANY MANY OTHER ISSUES IN THE WORLD xoxo
ReplyDelete@derek. thank you always for the backup.. i sometimes remember to thank you but sometimes forget.. always sugarhugs and thanks..
ReplyDeletegirls was really loved and cool season 1 but then lena b/c such a pretentious twat and was accused many times of plagiarism and "quietly settled" w/ her writers for stealing there stuff..the industry has quickly/ swiftly turned on her,, she is supposedly a majahhh biotch to werk w/
i think she has been softly blackballed by a lot of peeps in the biz who resent her elitist attitude.. like the writer version of Katherine heighl..
she's also not so quietly made her displeasure known that EVERYONE ELSE From the show's career is popping off except hers.. adam driver doing star wars and zosie booking movies and allison being the new it fashion girl and now pan. when adam got star wars, she made some back handed compliments about how glad she was able to create a platform to discover these talented people.. but it was clearly drenched w/ jealousy and backhanded..
ReplyDeletelena hasn't booked anything since season 1 while everyone else is flying past her and it's clearly pissing her off..
ReplyDeleteshe wrote a book................I can argue all night-and I agree she rips OUR FAV actress off---but......in the words of Miley "I think its super cool" -night xo NIGHT!
ReplyDeleteand wrote the show and directs the show A LOT
ReplyDeleteand Jemima has made it quite clear she is a girls girl----Alyson taking over Kristen Bells role---oh the humainy. and Zosia Mamet has a orta famous father whom in 2 weeks from now will have A LOT of explaining to do
ReplyDelete@sugbr---she booked a gig at th TORNTO COMEDAY FESTIVAL ---I could never afford the tickets for what its worth
ReplyDeletesorry just get defensive over my shows---don't even get me started about The Gilmore Girls!
ReplyDeleteDon't watch gg. What book were you talking about earlier. Juliana Hatfield? ?
DeleteWhat will David Mammet have to explain in 2 weeks? ? Deets boy.
ReplyDeletelilo not doing his play in London duh
ReplyDeleteyeah her aotobiography
ReplyDeleteI think you would love The Gilmore Girls
ReplyDeletebut it never won an Emmy......
ReplyDeleteDid anyone think lilo will show after opening night? ? Nope. But he gets tons of publicity for a show that would have come and gone without lilo name. She pretty got paid very little because she needed to be booked doing something more than she needed to work. Just the idea that David Mammet would hire her is worth it for both of them $$$ wise. Free publicity. .
ReplyDeleteI know-----k talk tomorrow xo---I have to work tomorrow night---need my beauty sleep zzz----I think I may have arguementive issues and I don't wantthose
ReplyDelete
