After fits and starts and ends and beginnings and renewals, the marriage of David Duchovny and Tea Leoni has finally ended for good. The couple finished it all off in June which is right about the time Tea started shooting her new show which David helped her land. Yeah, check your memory banks. Anyway, despite getting a brand new network show, Tea will be getting $40K a month in spousal support and another $100K a year for their two kids who Tea gets primary custody. David is also footing the bill for all the usual expenses that kids have. School, vacations, camps, etc. I guess this means David was finally ready to end it. No more trying for him.

There is something very off about Tea. A few years ago, I saw her drunk/high on The View. Or she could just be a wacky individual.

ReplyDeleteThe blind was a few weeks back. She slept with him at child handover time so as he could help get her a job cos he's working with someone who has something to do with her new show. David also has a girlfriend whilst he was sleeping with Tea.

Seems to me that if he is giving her $580 per year that she can help foot the bill for school and camp. She also should be making some money on her own as well. Never marry in California.

Hello everyone. I've been posting here for years about Duchovny and I've been saying since that they divorced back in 2009. I maintain that. He also has full custody of his children. And yes, he is with Gillian Anderson. Little by little things will come out. The blind item is not true. There was no sex, just a threat in between. You figure out the rest. As usual, there's people who won't believe me. But everything I've been saying is true.

ReplyDeleteI'm actually surprised the settlement was this low. I know $580k/year is a lot of money. But CA is a community property state. Between residuals from prior shows and his roles (acting & producing) on Calififotnivation, I thought he would have to pay her a lot more. Child support has a specific timeframe and spousal support usually does too. Maybe there was real estate given too that was not addressed. Or maybe as Damocies referred to, they were already divorced and this is all BS.

Tea had a short lived series and did about 1 movie every other year for the last decade. While she's probably not broke, it sure ain't X files $$$
You guys, unless the court seals the record, divorce decrees are public record. A divorce isn't "final" until the judge signs the decree and the parties'property is divided. The fact that this was filed in June means they in fact did not divorce legally until this June.

ReplyDeleteI tjought the concensus was tea had mental issues which is why david had full custody. Now she has custody and is working agIn. Mb she found some good meds that has her ok to work. However i am SLIGHTLY psychic and i think theres gonna be a meltdown and kids back to dad, Tea off show. Hope im wrong.

ReplyDeleteI actually even believe the whole 'sex-addict rehab' thing was fake. Maybe Tea had some leverage and used it against him (David fathering child(ren) with Gillian Anderson?). In order to keep the info hidden she probably wanted him to suffer in public, as in admitting to being a cheating bastard with addiction issues.

I never got the appeal of either of them. He's like an uglier Charlie from Empty Nest, and she's got serious man face and too big teeth. I honestly always thought she was a lesbian because she seems so butch.

ReplyDeleteI believe David still lives in New York. I thought they got a divorce a few years ago. I never believed the sex addict story. I think David turned to another woman, while Tea was messed up. He cheated and sex addict story was his punishment.

ReplyDeleteI don't know that anyone cares too much about these two anymore. He's already been branded as a sex addict. That's a done deal. I think the reaction for most is going to be that they're divorced because he's a serial cheater.

There has got to be something about both DD and Gillian Anderson making their split announcements on each other's birthdays. Last year it was GA's split on DD's bday (8/7) and now his split on her bday. That CANNOT be a coincidence.

DD has always been smart with his money and sued Fox for his residuals from X-Files. That show made him loaded.
Wouldn't be surprised if we see DD and GA out together.
@henriette I completely agree! I thought it was weird when they made the official announcement. Then, I remembered the birthday thing (hers) and found that he did it on her birthday. Hm...Can't believe no one is even reporting that.
