Blind Items Revealed

April 22, 2014

This former A list mostly movie actress who was really close to A+ at one point while doing a franchise has slipped to mostly doing indies. Part of the problem is her drinking. She also recently lost her boyfriend who finally threw in the towel after he caught her cheating again following a booze soaked night of partying.

Kirsten Dunst

  1. they still look very much together to me....and most actresses would kill for the indie roles kiki gets

  2. Awkward confession - I loved her Marie Antoinette. But don't tell anyone.

    3. Yup! Stylistically it's one of my all time favorite costume dramas/period films. Just beautiful and Kirsten was so much fun in the role :)

  5. I LOOOVED Marie Antoinette--Virgin Suicides, Crazy Beautiful, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Melancholia, BACHELORETTE! Eternal Sunshine---as I have stated before she is one of my favs

  6. Gar wise up?

I got over him when it was revealed he cheated on Meester with Stewart during On the Road, then got with KiKi during promo for On the Road.

  7. I have a hard time believing she is as bad with the drugs and drinking as the blinds imply. She has had 2-3 projects a year for the last 5 years. I doubt she would keep getting work if she was such a mess.

  8. KiKi was one of those IT girls when I was in HS. I think she justifies her drinking to herself because she never really had a childhood or adolescence.

I remember the blind about Hedlund, the parting on :On the Road" & hooking up with Stewart. Massive step down from Meester.

The thing with her is that I get the feeling that she enjoys her life the way it is. She doesn't seem to have the emotional heaviness that comes with being at the end of your drinking career. At the end of mine, I swear you could hear my heart breaking when I opened a bottle of wine. She doesn't give off that vibe.

  11. +7000000 on Melancholia. I went through a Lars von Trier phase for a bit. Dogville, Kingdom Hospital, Dancer in the Dark. Frickin LOVED his Medea. LOVED.

  13. I like the 1st half of melancholia

  14. Melancholia was an odd movie but I enjoy odd movies anyway.
Loved Dancer in The Dark. Breaking the Waves I didn't understand.
Still haven't seen Dogville or any of his others.

Kiki might be crazy after shooting but she appears to be doing well enough to keep getting jobs.

  15. Count me in on my love for Kiki and my fav movies of hers are:
    1. Bring it On
    2. Marie Antoinette
    3. Drop Dead Gorgeous

  16. I love Kirsten and think she can do no wrong!

  17. I wouldn't count her out. She's playing the lead in Midnight Special, an indie - but what an indie: the director Jeff Nichols' last films were Mud and Take Shelter.

  18. Get it girl. If you aint got no ring, you go ahead and do your thing. You can afford to buy a chunk of liver if you need it.

  21. I think my fave movie of hers is "Dick". She and Michelle Williams were totally spot-on as ditsy 15-year-olds.

  22. Hey, thats who she is. It probably wont end well, but shes pretty upfront about who she is

I'm with you on Lars von Trier. Most directors shy away from extreme emotions in favour of treading the middle ground.

  24. Kiki is a rare example of an actress who has everything going for her - talent, charisma, style - but who doesn't have an overabundance of ambition. The reverse is true of most.
She seems happy to do great work in good films made by interesting directors. I wish more were like her.

    1. I was thinking along the same lines. She experienced all of the big blockbuster success, and now seems happier doing more interesting roles. I don't think there's anything wrong with indies.
She seems to be doing fine, so I don't get the obsession with making her out to be a drunk.
