Blind Item #2

This former A list mostly movie actress has now dropped to B-. She still has some name recognition, but is forced to do mostly television which did include one cable hit. Earlier this week she was at an outdoor market and passed out drunk slumped against one of the stalls. A friend with her managed to get her up and help her stagger to a cab.

  5. I agree that with only the above info, one possibility is that she was ill.
I'll be charitable and assume Enty has some other info that indicates she was drunk.
Otherwise, posting this blind about an ill person would be kinda mean.
Toni Collette is an interesting guess, Sandy.

  6. @Tricia, ooooh, I never paid attn. to "Entourage" but if Beverly was on it,that sounds like an excellent(yet unfortunate)guess...I lost alot of respect for Al Pacino & his 'hair-doo' as a result of her..regardless of her whackadoo rep.

  10. If she was so drunk she needed help to the cab, who wouldn't take them home themselves to be sure they got there safe?

Did Enty mean "and help her get in a cab and took her home"?

  11. Agreed sad whoever it is. At that age whether you drink or not you should be better at managing your intake in public. Maybe it was a combo of wine at lunch and heat. That's a deadly combo.

  12. What was Dern's cable hit? Enlightened is a critic favorite but only got two small seasons.

  17. I love Beverly D'Angelo, but she never hit it big in films. The Lampoon moves were all about Chevy and she was just the costar. B+ at best in that area.

The only thing that could have make her an A was her romance with Pacino.

  18. Laura Dern's cable show got canceled. It wasn't a hit.

  21. @trudi...I hear you, but the Vacation franchise is one of the most successful, legendary ones in American cinema. It was Chevys vehicle, but she was quite, indelible in the minds of filmgoers as well...and a great comedienne who was hawt, which wasn't necessarily common .

  22. I'm probably wrong, but I read this as the Arquette lady who is in Boardwalk Empire.
I don't even know if that's on cable.
