Blind Item #10

This B+ list mostly movie actor who has had his chances this summer in movies and not done well after his stellar television role left his wife at the front door of a party and didn't talk to her again until he found her when he was ready to leave. He just ignored her. It was really depressing to witness.

  5. Not Pratt, Guardians and the Lego Movie both did really well. And his tv role isn't over.

  6. Aaron Paul is mostly tv at this point still

  7. Wait a minute, two people who live together and rode together (and back home again) to a party, talked to other people instead of clinging desperately to one another's side? What is the damn world coming to?

  8. IA with Tricia, I wouldn't call Paul mostly movie.

Sounds like it was someone who was in a bomb this summer. What movies bombed?

  9. Carrell is an interesting guess based on clues, but I know someone who worked as a PA on a couple of his movies and she said he is the nicest guy ever (and some interesting stories about what he did for the crew).

Aaron Paul was in a movie?

Guardians was a smash, not even close to a failure, so not Pratt. Plus, Anna Faris wouldn't give two farts.

    1. Rob Lowe didn't have "a" stellar role, though - he's had several (West Wing, Brothers & Sisters, Parks & Rec, Californication).

The sex tape joke, heh. :D

  14. Zach Gilford is a less obvious, married star with a summer film.

  15. Pratt's summer movies are doing well, so not him.

  16. This sounds like a fight happened on their way to to the party or before. Happens all the time with couples.

  17. She's lucky he didn't leave her in the kitchen so he could bang bims after the party.

  18. How 'bout Kelsey Grammer, stellar tv career, Expendables 3 did not do well, wondering if the word depressing refers to his Fraiser character being a psychiatrist.

  21. What? Depressing for the onlooker or the wife?
What's the problem with going to a party and talking to different groups of people as autonomous individuals? I don't think I understand this properly.

  23. I would say Aaron Paul fits best and I agree with sugarbread maker- alot of rumors about him this summer. His starring role movie flopped. He was great in BB but a niche character that not sure he can break out of. No way can he carry a movie. Just because he is nice to his fans and comes out of his house to sign autographs doesn't mean he wouldn't/couldn't cheat on wife or otherwise not be a nice guy. Always amazes me how people think they 'know' these stars based on a role or what they read in the paps. He was awesome in BB and don't wish ill on him but that is my assessment for what it is worth-( admittedly not much.)

  25. Nothing wrong with not clinging to your SI at a party. The purpose of a party is to meet and talk to other people.not understanding why this is considered "sad" because it isn't.

    1. Actually FrenchGirl - under enties rules since he basically opened a movie this summer he should be an A but maybe since it flopped he is B+ now. (I assume he think B+ is too high and maybe it is now since the flop)

  28. Dear Enty,

Has it ever occurred to you that some women like to mix and mingle at parties and don't need to hang on to their husbands the whole time like a security blanket? After all, the two of them presumably spend plenty of time alone together, they don't need to be hanging out with each other every second at a party full of interesting people.

  32. Nope. It IS Aaron Paul. That Hellion movie is gonna be on DVD soon. He wanted to get married in a hurry ....big mistake.

  33. I would be SHOCKED if it was Aaron Paul. I mean, they all are actors, but the way he gushes and gushes over his wife is a little bit embarrassing.

  34. It is ridiculous to call this sad! Even Miss Manners suggests that partners don't sit with one another at dinner parties and they are supposed to mingle! The delicious part is that she tells them to gossip to each other afterwards about all they learned. It would be sad if you felt that you needed to cling to your partner the whole time in order to ensure fidelity.
