ReplyDeleteKristen badly colored hair was for her last movie. Her new one starts filming in a few weeks and will require much shorter hair. So she had is cut early, but is going to let the movie stylist color it. Why dye it now, then have to dye it a few weeks later. As for her clothes, seems like she is dressed exactly like most teens and twenty year old, I see here in Georgia.

ReplyDeleteAfter finally getting work again after no one hiring Stewart for a couple years, even though she was the last minute replacement after another actress dropped out or was the 4th choice, this is not how to convice people she has change. She's a millionaire from Twilight, she needs to hire media training, a stylist, & acting lessons, and a therapist.

Delete@Shelly shell Kristen was the first choice for her new movie, but she was signed on to Ben Affleck's movie. When Will Smith signed on Kristen fled that movie. An the second choice dropped out of Clouds of Sils Maria Kristen signed on. She has also filmed five movies.

Leo - is that the 3rd party yuo pulled the other night? He DOES look cute.
Stewart was 3rd choice for Focus. Affleck dropped Focus, because Gardner is a friend of Ross, the wife of the director Stewart had sex with for the lead in a major picture. Smith wouldn't do Focus unless they re-cast. Stewart was a last minute replacement for Sils Maria, they were 2 weeks away from starting to film, when another actress dropped. There are also some pics of her with the director of that, that look to be comprimiing, not as much as with the director of Snow White.Stewart was 4th Choice for American Ultra, behind Jen Lawerence, Emma Watson, & Emma Stone, who all turned it down. And, she still had to beg for the role.

The writer/director for Clouds of Sils Maria, who I think would know, said he sent Kristen the script twice but she was not free. After Mai W. the second choice dropped out, he went to his first choice Kristen. Jen, Emma W. and Emma S were not offered American Ultra. It was written for Jessie and Kristen. The movie was meant to reunited Jessie E. and Kristen Stewart. And the movie has received millions for the rights to release it, based on Kristen and Jessie.

To say that an actor/actress can't find work, while they have made five movies in one year is silly. To say that an actor/actress is a failure because they are second or third choice for a movie is silly. Most actors move in and out of roles. Most actors take roles vacated by other actors.

ReplyDeleteBut you can't hide lack of acting skills or at least an inconsistency in performances. I did not really think much of her in Twilight but then I don't think I thought much of anyone in that movie. It was maybe a better than average teen movie and I only needed to see the one.

Many actors and actresses get roles not based strictly on talent because it is all about box office draw and PR value and well um connections.
Is Justin Beiber the best singer in the world not even close but people mostly parents of kids are still paying to see him in concert and buying his albums. It's all about the hype.
The moment the public is bored or onto the new thing, you are history and yes enjoy it while you can and do bank some of that cash.
