It always seems freaky to me when the outside of a propane tank freezes despite it being located beneath a burning hot grill.

I'd never noticed.
Woah man, science is trippy
And I became FRIST on a topic no one cares about lmao yay me
I've never seen this, but then I never turn on the propane after watching this video. If the Grill King wants his steaks grilled, he can turn it on, otherwise, I'll Gordon Ramsey it for him. Safer and tastes better. :b
I care. Congrats Court!
What da hell you are talking about man lol
Enty had a freak grilling accident, which is why no Enties were on board to commandeer this ship today :(
Can I crash your BBQ, Enty? I can meet you at your place within an hour
Heyyyy wassup with the no "blind items revealed" today Enty?!?!
Phase change, sucka.
Yeah, Montana - I was wondering the same thing. I only read reveals, not usually the blinds b/c I find them frustrating beyond belief!
hank hill enty.
Having flashbacks, are we enty? Lol
@ray thank you! It's the little things in life...
It's likely because propane itself is extremely cold in it's liquid state, which is how tanks are filled. It's why most people who fill tanks are required to wear gloves so they don't get frostbite.
Yay, science time!
It's because of Boyle's Law:

tl;dr- When volume increases, temperature drops if pressure is held constant
