ReplyDeleteThat's not how Alzheimers works in the beginning. You get confused and grow quiet because you feel stupid. You don't draw attention to yourself by yelling.
ReplyDelete@essie not always. Some people become violent, confrontational, hateful, etc due to being confused and upset. My papaw was very mean in his beginning stages simply because he was so frustrated at being confused and disoriented. On the other hand my mamaw became quiet to the point she never uttered another word after the first year and 4 years later at her death, she still hadn't spoke. All depends on the individual.
