Maksim Quits Dancing With The Stars
It seems that Maksim has been dancing on Dancing With The Stars since it premiered, but he actually joined the show beginning with its second season. He missed one other season because he was The Bachelor in Ukraine and you know, that took some time to give each woman a night in a fantasy suite. I'm not sure what Maksim plans on doing. Hopefully he saved some money. If he says he is going to open a dance studio, then he better be joining forces with Lea Michele's boyfriend and charge by the hour because I don't think a dance studio is going to make him quite the same amount of bank that DWTS does. Seriously, what do you think he is going to do? Go be a dancer for Jennifer Lopez and carry her purse for her? The Bachelor here in the US? To me that seems likely at some point. Disney/ABC loves to mix the two and probably don't want Maksim to go so you let him be The Bachelor for a bit and keep him around the network and maybe he comes back.
But you digress
ReplyDeleteRight here Maks>>>>>>>the open door to obscurity
ReplyDeleteGrab that suitcase, Maks!
ReplyDeleteHe wanted to go out the winner. He'll be back eventually.
ReplyDeleteAgain? Quits till they start filming again? Plus, didn't he announce this on The View to Sheri and Jenny? Who were fired weeks ago? Wouldn't the show be old/ re-run? IDK, really I don't.
ReplyDeleteI think he already has a dance studio in down NYC
ReplyDeleteWhen he said he was coming back last season, I knew he was gonna win even though I didn't watch. I wouldn't be surprised if the producers told him if he comes back for a season, they'll let him and his partner win the show.
ReplyDeleteYeah. They paired him with an Ice dancer, and his main competition was a woman with no feet. Go figure.
DeleteDirty Dancing with the Stars?
ReplyDeleteI love the drama with Kirstie Alley... they were ever so close. He more or less called scinetology science fiction on WWHL and was told Miss Alley won't be speaking to him anymore, because of Leah obviously....Enty we need nore details!!!
ReplyDeleteHe THINKS he's going to be an actor. Yeah. Right. If he were smart he'd ride the DWTS train till the steam runs out 30 years from now.
ReplyDeleteWhat do retired dancers do? Seriously it's like any athlete (or pop star, or actress) you only have so many years and then you choreograph or what?
ReplyDelete@Freya,Yeah,I agree,He may've been guaranteed a win but, arguably,Maks & his partner, the ice skater, were legitimately the Best Overall.(I only watch the Finales of those dancing, singing shows)
ReplyDeleteWhat a douche face
ReplyDelete@jordan
DeleteThere is seriously something I hate about his face!! I can't place it though (constant 5 o'clock shadow? General cockiness? It drives me cuckoo)
I think you might be right and he may be considered for the Bachelor. They are not naming anyone yet.
ReplyDeleteI'd watch it.
so the Man Ho is moving on up???????
ReplyDeleteGoes where all old dancers go - teaching little old ladies on cruise ships how to tango. Next stop Port Said.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Re money, not sure he has any. Wasn't he the popular guess for the blind about the celeb being blead dry by gangsters in the old country.
Or teaching the merengue in the Catskills.
DeleteI hope he has his painter and decorators licence!

ReplyDeleteHe's had a dance studio for years.
ReplyDeleteI think his massive ego has convinced him that he is a movie star. He isn't
ReplyDeleteI heard he is going to be a yacht boy, and then start a firm representing all yacht boys. He wants to make it as big an industry and get equal money for the boys, as for yacht girls. Just kidding. He probably plans to try and become an actor.
ReplyDeleteI think both he and his brother have dance studio(s). He's quit before and came back. I thought Maks was replacing Judge Len?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he finally won last season. He's a great dancer and the chemistry with Meryl was awesome.
Yes, he already co-owns a successful studio. He and Val should get their own show. And he should replace Len. And he and JLo couldn't do any better than each other, let's be real here.
ReplyDelete@Zach, YES! He and JLo would be a PERFECT match!
ReplyDeleteHe wants to be a judge. If they ask him to be a guest judge I'm sure he'll hop on it.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that he's a producer on the show so he's still going to get $$$ as long as it's on the air.
ReplyDeleteHe would be the most hated Bachelor ever.
I think being the next Bachelor is a good guess. He recently said he wants to settle down and have a family. He has a lot of love to give and needs an outlet. mkay.
ReplyDeleteSeems like a perfect setup for why he'd do The Bachelor.
He probably already the highest paid gigolo in la now.
ReplyDeleteI suspect he already has something else lined up.
