Blind Items Revealed

April 16, 2014

Some reporters tried to ask this foreign born former A list mostly movie actress some questions on a red carpet this week but were unable to understand a word she said. She was talking so softly and mumbling every word and what they could hear and understand had nothing to do with the question they asked. She acted like a zombie.

Catherine Zeta Jones

She is nuts---I feel for her kids---lucky that they have money though---lots of people with poor parents that act just as crazy

  2. Woohoo! Thanks, @VIP, but it was pretty easy. :)

  3. She's bipolar and she's medicated. Lay off, Enty, because both of those FUCKING SUCK.

    1. This. I feel her pain and hope she'll find some peace.

    2. I agree. Probably adjusted her meds incorrectly and this event was a prior commitment.

  4. Probably working out her meds.

  5. Poor CZJ. I watched Chicago again recently and she was so great in it! So beautiful too.

  6. @VIP-haha no tonight!!! is that fight still about Carols stupid book? Sometimes I wish I could pull off my leg when my storyline has become lackluster

    1. @Derek The fight is about everything and nothing, and it is amazing!! Watch it at least twice: once for Aviva, and once to enjoy everyone's facial expressions around her!!

  7. Just because the drugs are legally prescribed doesn't make them good things Enty.

  8. Exactly! Since when is it fun and games to pick on others with mental illness? That's as wrong as picking on people with a different sexual preference. Wrong is wrong! And it's wrong to delight in the pain of others.

  9. I think Catherine may have other issues besides bi-polar. I feel badly for her and her kids.

  10. I feel bad for her. Many bipoloars refuse to take medications due to their side affects and here we are bashing her for the side effect of treating her illness.

    1. +1,000,000! She's not "nuts", as one poster said; she's battling a serious mental illness while in the public eye. I don't care what her issues are as a human being - she has my compassion for battling the bipolar illness, one that's particularly tricky to medicate. Can't help being married to Douglas, either, although she knew what she was getting into. I see her as being kind of superficial and materialistic, which probably makes it more difficult on her ego to have to admit to the illness and the marriage difficulties publicly.

  12. Poor woman. I hope they can work out her meds soon.

  13. Well...being married to Michael Douglas, you'd have to be drugged up at all times to get through it.

    2. Ain't he a charmer though, and when she was getting help he was subtly back stabbing her with "support". Michael DoucheAss.

  14. I think she has other issues in addition to mental illness. Sad. But I'm not going to be upset that this is gossiped about. She needs to go get well instead of walking the red carpet. Some celebrities manage to keep their problems private and if you go out acting the fool, people will know about it.

  15. Will always love CZJ, she's beautiful, classy and a good actress. I feel for her and the family that they're dealing with issues of mental illness. It's not easy

    1. Noles, whats so classy about her? That she had s baby out of wedlock? And i couldnt care less, but dont do that and then tell me how religious and classy she is.

  16. She seems to be in just about every movie that comes out now. How bad can her mental health be if she is actually working on a regular basis?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Meh. I have a soft voice, excellent hearing, and loud roomies. They can barely hear me half the time and their voices are like gongs. I can imagine being overwhelmed on a red carpet with everyone shouting at you at once.

Also, any medication taken for mental health issues can have a zombifying side effect. So if she doesn't take meds, she's a nut job who neglects her kids, but if she does take them, she's a mumbling zombie. Girlfriend can't win.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sad, but I feel worse for her kids than for her. I remember how horrible CZJ was to other people when she first got really famous, which stops me from having much sympathy for her now.

  19. This is sad. She needs to take a break from red carpets

  20. +1111111111111111111111111 she's battling a mental illness in the public eye.

and just for the record there is newer research showing that "BIPOLAR" may actually be chemical imbalance of b 12 vitamin

there are multiple pubmed research articles on the subject.

what they are "CALLING" Bipolar could be a form of mania caused by an issue with vitamin b12 deficiency

    example of one article :

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6691503

  21. @Me2 - I'll have to read that article! I strongly believe in a holistic mind/body/spirit connection, and there can definitely be treatments for mood disorders that aren't pharmaceutical at all. Often doctors and others in the mental health field say that "if you're bipolar, you will ALWAYS be on meds." Well, I had a HORRIFIC few months this year on lithium/lamictal, and I am currently on 5-HTP and megadoses of fish oil and I feel a million times better and pretty much like myself again. No joke. I also picked up ashwagandha yesterday as per Dr. Weil, so we'll see if that makes a difference, too.

(Caveat: by no means am I some quack social worker who says "toss yer meds!" I have just found that these supplements, along with music/sunlight/walking/meditation/deep breathing/etc., have made a tremendous difference for ME.)

    ReplyDelete
  22. So she's OVERMEDICATED! Someone needs to help her with that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @Krissie - I'm not really trying to WK for her or any of us who are bipolar, but sometimes when we appear to be horrible people doing horrible things, we honestly and truly can't help it. We have to take responsibility for it and make amends, by all means, but sometimes it's out of our control and we're horrified and ashamed afterwards. (It's usually those we love the most that we hurt.) So maybe it's possible that her being "horrible" was a bad bipolar trip; what did she do exactly?

@Sevenofeleven - What you said +10000. Damned if we do, damned if we don't! We CAN find the magic treatment sometimes, but it's kind of rare and we're always going to struggle with recovery anyway. :-/

  24. Sounds kinda like the Nasty Rachel chick. Whatever pills that broad was on, she barely moved her jaw when she spoke and you could barely hear her in the horrid amateur sex clips.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Look i think she has serious MI issues, and I think she is trying to keep her life as normal as possible by doing usual activities. So i guess sometimes shes gonna be a little off; i respect her for getting up everyday and putting one foot in front of the other.
I bumped into a woman at the Y the ither day who used ti be in class i was in. Well she started talking to me, about health issues, and heavy meds she was on, i tried to be as polite as i cld but really, she was out there. So cld happen to anyone, just pleasant and carry on.

  26. @AKM, she used to be known for constant lawsuits. Probably the most notorious one came when she sold her wedding photos to a magazine for a million dollars. She then sued the magazine because she decided she looked "fat" in her wedding photo. I don't care if she had mental issues then, that was not the fault of all the people she dragged into lawsuits. (And i say that as someone who has mental issues too.)

  27. Ooh was she eating braaiiinns?

    ReplyDelete
  28. You know, she's one of the few, I don't particularly like, comes across as smug and up her own bum, but I do think those around her and those that love her, should care enough not to put her on the red carpet when she is that put of it, they knew, and they let it happen...that's off. Very off.

  29. @auntliddy. Didn't mention religion at all?!?! And when I say classy, I mean she always looks 'put together' . I never said she should be awarded sainthood, I just like her. My humbles :)

  30. I hate when people bang on anyone with mental illness! As a person who has battled bipolar and severe depression, I can attest to the tremendous varying side effects of medications that are used to help us battle this illness. It sucks monster balls. I wish Zeta Jones good luck in her recovery. Having the world watch, comment and ridicule you over mumbling, dead eyes, monotone speech, involuntary tremors/tics, etc. is horrific. I wish mental illness wasn't seen as and treated like a side show circus.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Krissie - Oh, I agree. I didn't know that story, so that's why I asked. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  32. @M Safavi: The world was watching because she was on a red carpet for the world to see her. Just like Brit Brit, if she stayed out of the public's eye, there would be very little to corroborate the rumors.

  33. something is very different about Catherine now

and it seemed all of a sudden publicly

surely she has the best of doctors

I used to love her sparkle-she had class and a real zest for life......wish her the best in recovery

  34. @AKM, yeah, her sue-happy phase was while back so it's not surprising if people don't know about it. She seems to have cooled it on the lawsuits in the last few years. I wonder if Michael Douglas finally said to her, "We've got to stop this." Maybe he realized what bad press they were getting.

Tidbit: during one suit CZJ announced that a million dollars wasn't much money to her. Some school kids in the UK wrote her a letter that said, "Mrs. Zeta-Jones, if a million dollars is not much to you, would you please consider donating a million dollars to charity?" Awesome kids!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think Michael Douglas stays with her because he probably loved/loves her and divorcing is not going to improve her situation. Plus she's the mother of his children.

Thankfully she's gorgeous on red carpets so it all works out.

  36. This BI is kind of cruel, because is very well known that she has Bipolar issues and that last year she had very bad crisis for almost the whole year and for her being okay and able to be with her family she most take a lot of meds that had many second effects
