Blind Items Revealed

June 13, 2014

This A list actor who is looking for movie work after his long running network show ended has never been nice but he spent an entire dinner telling those around him how he really didn't care for this now retired talk show host. The former talk show host could hear every word because he was just two tables away.

Alec Baldwin/Regis Philbin

  3. Did Alec just randomly start going off on an anti Regis rant and Regis happened to be there or did he see Regis and decide to go off on him? Tell us the whole story enty!

  4. Apparently, when you reach a certain level of assholery, you just don't care anymore. Like the old guys wearing black socks and sandals with their Bermuda shorts.

  5. Well I bet the feeling is mutual

  6. Regis is kind of an ass too. So it takes 2 to tangle. Pot meet kettle.

  7. Hell, the only thing Hilaria lets him do anymore is run his mouth and rile people.
I know everyone says he has a hot temper and that testosterone is flipping his lid but
    let's face it,.

  8. Something like this once happened to me.

Friday night margaritas and mex with friends. Happily working on round two, we started feeling boisterous and chatty. Julia Roberts name came up and some of us, a lot me, loudly went off on her acting, etc. Each of us trying to outdo the other.

Why not? It's not like she'd ever know.

Right. She was seated at the table behind us. As she got up and left, she quietly walked past our table, where we sat there like ginormous silent arseholes.

    It harshed our buzz.

    1. @Tigercat somewhere her daily abused nannies and Danny Moder are giving you a standing ovation as a single year trails down their cheek.

    2. @tigercat that exact scene was in her movie with High Grant, Notting Hill. That's what probably inspired the scene.

    3. Tigercat- are you sure you didn't just get really stoned and watched 'Love Actually' starring Julia and Hugh Grant?? You basically played out one of the scenes. Are you sure it really happened? Were you in London when this happened:)

  12. I thought if it were Akec, I didn't think it was Jay. (Mostly) Jay -Alec opposite coasts. And I mentioned, I think Jay likes to stay out here in LA.

  13. As with all things, consider the source. I would probably not have been able to resist the urge to tell him, "I've been called worse by better"

  14. Was this the time Alec and Regis hung out at a charity event?

Or the time Regis was part of Alec's documentary?

Or the time Alec guest hosted with Kelly Ripa after Regis retired?

    Mimosa score: 3. OK, 4, it's a holiday weekend. :D

I found like 25 Tina Fey/Amy Poehler gifs to use in response. I can't pick one and now I'm obsessed with Tina/Amy gifs!

  15. You know what would be actually Newsworthy? If Alec were to be overheard saying something NICE about someone. Such a rarity would deserve front page coverage!

  16. Why wld he do that ?! Makes no sense.

  17. I never liked Regis either. I found him to be very abrasive and cranky, and who needs to watch that?

  18. Alec doesn't like anyone. This isn't news.

  19. Regis is an even bigger ass than Alec, so I'm okay with this.

  20. I know he's a colossal prick, but he was great in 30 Rock. The speech in Glengarry glen ross will always be up there amongst my favorite movie speeches. Then again in my humble estimation, so was Bette Midler's at the end of 'Big Business'...so take whatever i say with a grain of salt.

  21. I'd love to read about Alec getting his fat ass kicked.

  22. Regis is a decent man

and Alex is a low classy idiot

    ReplyDelete
  23. I thought Regis had early Alzheimers, so this is really cruel.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Regis always calls Alec "Alex," and continues to get it wrong after being corrected, so maybe Alec is just tired of it.

  25. I can see the two of them being oil and water. Regis always struck me as dumb and untalented. Maybe the luckiest man in Hollywood because he has no skills other than yelling in what he thinks is an amusing way, and pretending to be interested in vapid guests (and his succession of equally vapid co-hosts). That such a man would have a multi-decade successful career is - I don't know what the word is.... but I can see Alec Baldwin who is multi-talented and very intelligent and quick-witted, not caring much for him.

Alec Baldwin is one guy where even if the celebrity blinds all say he's not nice - I can't help liking the guy.

Still, to say it within earshot is tacky.

  26. You can always count on Alec to bring the fuckery

  27. I've met Regis twice. He was a very nice man.
