This former almost A list mostly movie actress should probably be a C+ lister at this point but that name of hers is going to keep her hovering at the A list for at least a couple of more years. She has A+ name recognition. She is also turning into a not very nice person. That sweet image she tried so hard to craft goes away when you are around her. She left her child home while she went out to eat with a couple of friends. When anyone approached the actress for a photo or to say hello her bodyguard would leap into action and keep them away. Apparently she doesn't want to meet any fans and won't ever pose for a photo. She won't sign anything and will ignore any attempts at conversation. I think she needs to think about where she is going to be in a few years and how desperate she will be for fans.

DeleteGossip - she couldn't get anything other than child support due to prenup. That being said she probably could have fought for more and didn't.
DeletePre-nup doesn't mean you get nothing. It just means you agreed to the terms ahead of time.

DeleteI thought there was some clause about after 5 years she gets a set alimony? Coulda sworn a big deal was made that she would file for divorce after 5 years and that's exactly what she did. Nicole got screwed because she didn't have that clause and Tom filed like a week before they hit California's automatic 10-year shared property law.*
*For those who may not know, in CA if you can prove you were in a relationship with someone for 10 years, you are considered married in regards to communal property and everything is split 50/50. No marriage or opposite-sex required.
That tends to happen when you reach the point of "That's it, I'm done! "

DeleteBut she got paid millions in installments throughout the marriage. She is probably sitting on 20 million. She got 3-4 million per year for every year of marriage tax free. Plus 2 million wardrobe allowance per year that she maxed and probably consigned after divorce. She's not broke. Her dad taught her how to squirrel away the money and not end up like Nicole

@ShadyLady oh thank fuck you posted that. I read the BI twice and kept reading "she left her childhood home" and was really really confused as to why she was living there.

@SYF maybe she's the one who hired a hitman and needs an alibi that doesn't look staged. This way everyone remembers she was there but there's no abundance of proof that would make Columbo ask "yes but WHY is there so much proof she was there that night while her lover was being strangled in her childhood home?"

Who knows how those years affected her. I'd have major trust issues & social anxiety.

I heard she was like this before Tom. There is this website where waiter goes to and complain about their customers. One waiter complained about how rude she was and how she treated Chris Klein. So this was posted when she was dating him. I know everybody wants to make her out as sweet and innocence,but like I always felt she was shady as hell.

ReplyDeleteShe had a really psychotic stalker during Dawsons Creek days. All of the cast has said that it made her very wary of strangers from then on. I can't blame her.
ReplyDeleteKatie Holmes is an interesting case. Before she got with Tom, her interviews were always, "I love my friends from high school! I'm a big dork! I like to go home to Ohio and hang out! I love cupcakes!" During the time she was with Tom it became, "Tom is the best husband. My hair is short because Tom likes it. Tom drives me around on his motorcycle. Tom and I like to visit Tom's family." And nowadays she seems to shy away from any attention at all. Who knows what she's thinking these days. If she starts doing interviews again I imagine she'll mostly talk about Suri and parenting.

I hope these blinds of Enty's are a wakeup call. She seems to not be doing well since her breakup with Tom. Another blind Tom watching her through the Nanny, she should get her act together, or he will take Suri away from her if he feels she isn't watching her, or is drunk when Suri's awake, etc.
ReplyDeleteShe could very well not be a nice person, but the fact that someone doesn't want their dinner or any other private time interrupted is not proof of this in my book. If I go out to dinner with a friend and they text all night I think they are being rude, so imagine having a famous friend or family who just take pictures with fans the whole time. It would get old fast.
