Blind Items Revealed

January 23, 2014

This former A list R&B singer was really young when her parents decided she could be a star. They let this, at the time A+ list R&B singer talk them into letting their daughter move in with him knowing he would be having sex with her but it was the price they were willing to pay to make their daughter a star.

Aaliyah/R Kelly

    1. Thankfully she actually ended up doing ok up until her tragic death in an airplane crash.

    2. As far as we know. She could have been really emotionally damaged by all that and kept it well hidden. It happens with a lot of victims.

  5. The parents must be so annoyed that their cash cow died so early. And messily. It must have been icky for them to have to identify her remains.

  9. Get it, Bro. If they pimpin her out to you, you might as well go with it. As long as you didn't put the damage in the broad, there is no shame in having fun with it.

  10. R Kelly is by definition, a horrible person

  11. Completely disgraceful.

  12. I guess they went to the same School of Parenting as Courtney Stoddard's "parents".

I liked her the in Romeo Must Die and The Matrix. RIP, Aaliyah.

Side note: there's apparently some sort of conspiracy involving her, Bey, and the Illuminati. Do not click if you don't have time to ask yourself "what the hell did I just read?!!"

"Aaliyah", meaning highest most exalted one vs. "Beyonce", meaning one who is beyond others (Two women wanting to be the best. There's only enough room for one).

  24. People should have to take a test before procreating. Is pimping your child out (circle one) right or wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  25. @count, sometimes your schtick is funny.

    But sometimes it's just sad.

  26. Stage parents should be lined up and shot.

  27. Slow day for gossip eh? Why don't you post the Old Hollywood of who posed naked for Playboy before becoming one of the most well known sex symbols of all time and counts among her ex husbands a legendary ball player and a renowned writer? That's on a par with this so called "blind".

  28. 15 w/ parental consent, good to go. Back then there were still states w/ 14 as the AOC, GA as an example.

  29. Texas rose I saw what you did there the 2nd time.
Doesn't take much to entertain me, I've been in the sun too long!

  30. OT.
So Linda Perry has her own show coming out. (Prob someone here mentioned it already, that is if someone cares.). Anyhooo, I'm wondering if this is the fuel behind the Newlyweds fires. Maybe she got a little too big to big for her boxers.
I feel like I've seen Sara try to soun Linda's success a little bigger than it actually has been, and deep down they both know Sara's the bigger fish.
IM GUESSING Sara's also tbe bigger person.

  31. Not quite yet. RKelly needs to have his boys slowly cauterized (without anesthesia) until they are gone forever.
Her parents shouldn't have been allowed to let their little girl go through what must have been the most terrifying situation ever. Poor kid, & then to die in utmost terror as well.
Sometimes I hate people so much.
And count, you should have been .... A little less this time.

    ReplyDelete
  32. ah yes back to the Illuminati/MK Ultra rumors.....

this is certainly not a blind-it is common knowledge

pimping out your children Kartrashian style is not a new thing

everyone thinks their kid is talented these days

I've been on the stage parent side of this and it is a slippery slope

my very best personal advice to anyone considering letting their child get involved in the fame game is just don't do it-it is a nasty messed up lifestyle that sucks you in

    believe me

  34. Then the ultimate slap in the face, her estate must have allowed Aaliyah's voice and hologram imagery to be used in that Chris Brown "duet". I doubt Aaliyah would have approved of CB after all of his nonsense.

You have to wonder what power R Kelly has over the industry, when respectable people name-drop him all the time. The most recent artist giving him a shout out is Kimbra!

    ReplyDelete
  35. R Kelly is a rapist

    ReplyDelete
  36. Aaliyah's father died 2 years ago and it has been written that her mother is terminally ill with cancer and deep in depression since his death.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Isn't Barry Hankerson still alive? If the parents are in such a state he must be the one calling the shots. He's got a protected Twitter account so guess he's still around.

    ReplyDelete
  38. God I hate R. Kelly with a passion, he's a piece of shit. Poor Aaliyah, so talented. RIP babygirl

  39. @victoria.. thanks boo!!
    love ya back

  40. R. Kelly is old news! What about the men and women she was passed around to before she was 18? That's the story that I want to know about.

    ReplyDelete
  41. From memory (not my kind of music, so could be wrong) she was on a plane coming back from a video shoot? All the gear was loaded into the plane, and it was basically grossly overweight. A couple of the techs were bounced off the plane due to lack of space, and told to make their own way back. They watched as the plane struggled to gain height, and eventually stalled.

So un-necessary, but you have to wonder whether the pilots were as "relaxed" as the rest of the crew. Golden rule with small aircraft - don't breach the maximum take-off weight.

  42. No wonder her parents want to control the script to her bio-pic.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well that whole Illuminati thing was....interesting. Talk about seeing what you want to see!

And Count, I'm gonna give you a pass for assuming Aaliyah was 15 and not 12 when all this stuff started, even though that's not much better. I'm usually your biggest fan, but I can't get behind the idea that it's okay to mess with a 12 yo (8 yo? 4 yo? where does it end?) just because someone else got there first.

  44. Ahhh......The Dina Lohan School of Parenting.

And, Enty should really put a like and dislike button on this site. Along with an ignore button so you can't see comments from idiots.

  45. Yeah, common knowledge and it was "annulled". The departure to a new label and working with Missy and Timba changed that situation a lot.

She was brilliantly talented, focused, and going places.

    RIP, Aaliyah.

  46. Didn't read the "Illuminati" article, but Beyoncé was named after her mother. Her mom's maiden name is Beyince, so I'm not sure that her name has a meaning other than that.

  47. My sweet friend, Big Scotty was her bodyguard and died from his injuries in the plane crash and while he spent his final moments dying from internal bleeding, he was only able to give his son's contact info and to ask where Aaliyah was and if she was okay...he was selfless and committed to his job to the end in this terrible tragedy...I miss him so much to this very day...RIP Big Scotty and Aaliyah
