Blind Items Revealed - Kindness

June 26, 2014

This always in my mind A list entertainer(singer) but more like a B lister usually finds himself played on country radio stations, but he doesn't really fit anywhere. Linked with lots of famous actresses, this singer left a tip of $5K last week so his waitress would be able to buy a car to replace the one that broke down and had her walking several miles to work each day and her neighbors picking up her kids from school.

Lyle Lovett

  1. Lyle. You weren't blessed with the handsome stick. But you were with the nice one. Whatever possessed you to marry Julia?

@Violet, he's not attractive by "most" standards, but there's always been... that something about him. Oh yes, I would! :)

  11. Lyle Lovett's right beside me with his hand upon my thigh. Julia Roberts's is right behind me saying, "girl, don't even try!" (Alt lyrics)

    1. I don't think he needs it, Sandy. He's not doing arena shows, but his concerts sell out consistently. He plays an outdoor venue by me every year, and every year tickets are gone within minutes. At $80 a pop, and roughly 10,000 attending; that's a decent chunk of change. I don't know what his percentage cut is, and obviously the other members of the band need to get paid, but that's still a nice paycheck for several hours of work.

  19. Met him years ago when I worked at a venue where he was playing. Could not have been nicer and sweeter. And actually was very handsome in a charismatic way in person -- smelled nice, too.

  20. What a guy! My mom and grandma were on a flight with him to TX, and they wouldn't even say hi or smile ay him! I told them that he seemed like a sweet normal guy who would have smiled right back at two old ladies who were just being nice and not all up in his face. We saw him pull up in just a van or something, and the way he smiled so genuinely at the guys helping him with his bags, I knew he had to be good people. I'm dying to know just what he saw in Julia, you know?!
