Blind Items Revealed - Kindness

January 23, 2014

This actress is not the biggest star in the world but she still has a name and once had her own network show and was on a huge cable television hit. On a flight this week our B list actress had a middle seat in the very last row of the plane. She was seated next to a child who was flying alone to see his dad for a visit. When she heard it was his first time flying alone our actress spent the almost two hour flight playing video games with him and building a LEGO model and never once seemed to get tired or want any kind of break. Because he was alone he was the last person to get off the plane and our actress waited with him until the flight attendants took him off to meet his dad.

  4. Who lets little kids fly alone? In any case this is very nice and caring of her to take on the role of nanny. The flight crew has enough to do.

    2. I use to fly alone all the time when I was a kid. They have ppl walk you to and from the plane so you aren't completely left on your own.

    4. I'm another one who flew alone as a youngster. I only had positive experiences doing so.

    5. Luckily my nephew had the $$ to ferry his chirrens all over the country and buy my ticket to take my great niece back to CA on Tuesday.

Lots of times ladies on the flights where we had UM's woukd take on a nanny role. Very common. Loads of sweet mother hens out there who absolutely love kids and find it a joy.

    6. I flew alone at the age of 5. I still remember it. I had a blast. Then there was the time I was 10 and flying across the country with my 8 year old brother... and they put us on the plane to New York instead of Boston by mistake. Fortunately I realized we were on the wrong plane and got off in time.

  7. It's pretty common. They have flight staff that accompany the child to their seat and accompany them off the plane to their designated guardian. I sat next to a 9 year old girl once who had never flown before, let alone never flown alone, and the flight staff was unbelievably awesome. And she kicked my butt at gin rummy.

  10. This ass (SFW), and she don't mind spending hours building LEGOS? She can sleep in the bedroom.

My fat fingers and LEGOS don't mix. I wind up smashing shit up 1/2 way though building it.

  11. I can imagine flying alone as a kid teaches one to be responsible and mature.

  12. The gossip on her is she is cold, I'm so glad this is out.
Apparently, the B was loved by a discerning crowd. Such style!

  19. This is really the real kindness! Not a big stuff ( like wanted to save the world a la Jolie ) but just the real attention

  22. AKM, thanks for the tip! We loved the B and were really angry with ABC (as we were before when the same network screwed over Better Off Ted) when they not only canceled it but showed the eps out of any semblance of order.

    1. Yeah, I JUST saw that lasy night as I was watching some "Designing Women" -- still sad about Meschach! -- and I might have screamed and scared my mom a little bit. ;-) I THINK they're doing a marathon this Saturday, but check the website and don't quote me.

  23. Happy belated fourth everyone! I lover her and don't know why the hell ABC canceled Don't Trust the B. (Or Happy Endings for that matter. "Dave- This coming from someone who thought SkyMall was an actual thing. Alex-i'm sorry, but if we can put a man on the moon I think we'd be able to put a Chico's in the sky.") I hope she has a long career. I just watched the 'Tall Slut No Panties" episode of Don't Trust last night to "decompress" after work. Have a happy Sunday all.

    1. @Cookie I thought I'd like Happy Endings but I don't know, I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy making up a song in my head about why mac and cheese are best friends.
