Modern Family
Modern Family
The one that fought for custody.
Shoot. I took time to look it up to be sure Alex was underage.
Modern Family. I've heard that little Alex character is the opposite of the role she plays, a wild young thing and not well supervised by her parents. Oh boy.

This was the same child that wanted away from her mother because the mother didn't approve of the boyfriend.
Alex - thought her older sister got court OK to look after her instead if the money grubbin mothah.
And I wanna know who the sperm doner is, since she's underage.
The mother also starved her and wanted her dressing like a tramp
How old is she..? Obviously she is keeping her baby. Damn it now I've got papa don't preach stuck in my head.
Apparently her sister has custody of her because of emotional abuse by her mother...
Why not make it part of some story lines? Unless they are protecting the sperm doner (one of their own?) and want to pretend she's not preggers.
I believe the mother did oversee the diet but was against her dressing trashy. IMHO the mom was on the strict side of parenting while trying to raise a spoiled child star who got painted by the press because the child wasn't getting her way.
Is abortion now totally passe?
All I can say is that is what happened most of the time when I was in high school and if I had been so unlucky that would have been Option #1. That said this should be a one time only learn from your one time mistake option.
Then suddenly it was cool to keep the baby even go out and get pregnant on purpose. I live in a town that has the highest rate of teen pregnancy and always has been in the top 10 list for quite a while now. Well if you think living on mother's allowance is the high life, go to it.
Winter is 16.
Ooh Sincerely that is another potential issue depending on who the father is. If he was underage too no biggy.
Sadie Calvano-Mom
Ariel Winter is 16 and won't be 17 until January 2015!
I love her though, and wish her well. I just wish she'd give me the baby and move on with her life.
very unfortunate
birth control young people...
Wowza, maybe it's the glasses or the big boobs but I thought she was older.
I've heard twice recently that the little Alex character from Modern family is the opposite of the character she plays. A wild young thing that is not well supervised by her parents. Oh boy, if I can just remember both places that I heard or read that.
Well she obviously likes to ride bare back.
@KMS. Snap!
And now she'll be riding for 2.
Yeah, could be juicy! (-:
Or not. )-:
What a shame, I wonder what she will do?
Papa I know you're going to be upset. Cause I was always your little girl. But you should know by now I'm not a baby...
I just hope Al Bundy isn't the father.
Well if the show is called Modern Family the pregnant teenage daughter who goes through the full pregnancy and keeps the baby can't get anymore Modern, might as well work with it.
Wouldn't the baby be proof of the statutory rape by her much older boyfriend?
If I remember correctly she was 14. Her boyfriend was 19. The mother didn't approve of the boyfriend because she thought Ariel was having sex with him. She tried to block Ariel from seeing him. Ariel got pissed and got the sister to take custody of her.
@Brian: Depends on the state. 16 is legal in the majority of the US.
I think there's an age discrepancy clause in there. I think you can be 16, but the other person can't be more than 3 yrs older or something. Even still, she could get it.
@Sean Bello: No. 16 is AOC with no restrictions besides parent, guardian, teacher. 16 can screw 70 in most states.
The exceptions are usually 13 or 14 to the AOC w/ a 3 or 4 year window, and is there for peers (kids in high school together).
Search Age of Constent US on wikipedia, and it will take you to a page that has all of them explained.
P.S. Interesting one I saw in the news a month or 2 ago. One state has it that a teacher can't screw a former student until they are 21, or it is a crime.
+1!!
Write the pregnancy IN and let Cam and Mitch raise the baby! (I kid, I kid!)
That's absolutely awful. There's some hot teachers out there now.
My god son was born to a 16 year old mother. He is now grown, highly intelligent and well adjusted. This is not the end of the world. And if the father is a teen boyfriend this is barely even gossip.
Yikes!!! Remember kids, glove the love!
Birth mothers don't "move on with their life" they live with the pain of relinquishment their whole life. There's no forgetting and the pain doesn't go away, it just changes. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
my last year teaching I was the guy's HS track coach. I was all of 27, looking 24, working out around HS guys, some as old as 19.
One student asked me one summer after I quit teaching why I never hooked up with him because he could tell I found him attractive and he was rather aggressive and persistent with trying (he was 19 and while he was very good looking and we had a lot in common, the age and the teacher thing freaked me out).
I told him that as much as I might like him, I liked my job and my conscious more. He was not thrilled with that answer.
All the producers need to do is send her off to college and have her call home every week. But I don't think Ariel is pregnant. I don't believe this story at all.
Yeah 19 year old boys need some ethics classes for their peens, Headrot! Good for you and welcome back...I hope your sabbatical went well :)
Lilly no!!!!
Easy Easy? Modern Family of course. Ariel Winter and who didn't see this coming once her older sister became her legal guardian?
