Blind Item #3 - Kindness

This former A- list mostly television actress who has for the most part been in series after series that have failed after a season or two has a four unit apartment building that she uses to help families stay together when the women in the family are going through chemo related to breast cancer and have to travel to Los Angeles for treatment.

    1. @Tricia - I like this guess but there is no way Enty would ever say something nice about Debra Messing.

  2. Whoever she is, she's awesome.

  3. Whoever she is, she was smart and invested her money. What a great way to give something back, helping those in need.

  5. Whoever it is she's fantastic…
Something tells me this hits close to home for her, once your family has been touched by illness it changes you forever.

  6. I love her whoever she is. I hope this is revealed.

  7. Christina a great guess as a cancer survivor, but she's done a lot of fieldwork, not just a former tv actress, and has had a few hits post Married w/children like Jessi...

  8. It sounds like Christina, but Married with Children was on for a long time. That doesn't fit "series after series that have failed after a season or two"

  9. Yep Applegate. She had two series in recent years that didn't last long. One will Will Arnet and then Samantha Who. I have to say I loved Samantha Who and was so mad the writers strike brought it to its end. You bastard writers!! ;)

    1. I loved Sanantha Who? as well. I didn't know it was writers strike that cancelled it. I thought it was combination of production costs & christina didn't want to continue on with it. Great cast!

  11. Love this blind, & can't wait for the reveal! I'm guessing Christina Applegate, too. Her Mom also had breast cancer (Nancy Applegate).

  13. I loved Samantha Who?, too, Jessi! That show was great! Jennifer Esposito was goddamned brilliant.

  16. I also loved "Samantha Who". And bless that woman who knows how to give back.

  17. There's no way anyone who knows her would say anything nice about Deb Messing.

Applegate's a good guess. Maybe Ann Jillian, she survived breast cancer and her old rep Joyce Selznick died of it. She's been active in breast cancer charities for years. She may be too old/obscure for an Enty blind.

  19. If not for the A- rating, I want to say Paula Marshall, she's the female Ted McGinley, a show killer. But it's Christina Applegate.

  20. It's too bad that Applegate is stupid enough to smoke, even though she beat cancer once. Altruistic as she may be (if this blind is about her) she could use a few more brain cells.

  21. Whoever it is, what a lovely thing to do. A great blind.

  22. This is certainly Applegate, she's always been awesome about supporting women's health issues. If it's not her, then it's really nice to know there may be two actresses out there who are this kind and wonderful.
