A bride in Tennessee dragged her one month old daughter down the aisle, attached to her mom's wedding dress. The mom didn't see anything wrong with it. What do you think?
I saw this yesterday and I was wondering why the hell she would drag a one month old baby on her dress. What the hell was the point of that? She didn't sew the older one on there. It was the stupidest thing I have ever seen. And her reply showed how unintelligent this woman was. Seriously, though nothing happened what about the dirt there on the floor that baby inhaled, could have gotten in her eyes. AND there are people out there who think this is so precious. Natural selection is right.
Setting aside wanting to have your baby in your wedding... I have NO IDEA why anyone would think dragging a baby on the train behind her was a smart thing to do. Quite the opposite. Fucking stupid thing to do.
Did no one honestly voice their concern? Or did the bride do what the bride did 'cause she's the bride, goddammit?
I'm just a prom night dumpster baby I got no mom or dad I'm just a prom night dumpster baby and I'm taking a stroll (he's taking a stroll) I'm taking a stroll (taking a stroll) and I'm taking a stroll
The bride's cousin said the baby wasn't dragged, just placed on the dress for a photo. (Um... ok...)
The bride's response, however, was that Jesus approves.
The answer is we do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!!”
Is that the back of Kimye's bridal gown?! Looks like Nori pregamed too hard at the airport bar, but was probably necessary. You can confirm that Tisci must loathe Kim, although the front bib detail on the gown finally makes sense since there is a baby sewn to the train....
I custom paint wine glasses to look like wedding parties (bride, bridesmaid, etc.) While sitting here working today and listening to CNN, they did a story on this idiot. The best comment was "Why didn't she just tie the baby to the back of the car with the tin cans and streamers". Off to see if I can paint a baby on the base of this dress, some moron will order one soon........
It's safety issue. The bride could fall backwards, the baby could get caught in the veil, uncle Irv could pass out, etc. Unlikely anything would happen, but a bad idea overall. One that got blown out of proportion.
I'm born and raised in California but I fell in love with Nashville during a 3-day visit. I really wish I'd gotten the job I was up for and could have moved there. There were so many people walking around, the downtown vibe was incredible and everyone was super friendly.
Alas, I'm stuck at the beach, soaking in radiation from Japan. Yay.
@Sugarbread That's just the greatest idea of all time and I might have to do it. Imagine if I ask others to do the same and sit spread out sporadically down the beach.
I think it was incredibly tacky, but not necessarily reckless. Supposedly the baby was strapped in safely. Not all that different from a baby backpack or baby bjorn. Just waaaaaay tacky.
Dangerous and stupid and tacky. And the things the couple posted on face book are inane, ungrammatical and just plain ignorant. Pair of first class idiots. Im horrifed at how dumb they are.
Hey hey hey...bash Ripley, TN, maybe, but not the whole damn state. I got a hell of an education in TN in the eighties, believe it or not, and I also knew plenty of intelligent people who were born and raised there.
This woman, though, is completely gross and stupid. I read that her dress was Vera Wang and I nearly vomited at the thought that someone that stupid got to have that upscale of a dress. How in the hell did THAT happen?! SMH.
Uh wut
ReplyDeletelol!!!! Janelle got married?
ReplyDeleteOnly in Tennessee
ReplyDeleteSimmer down there sir. I had my babies drive John Deers down the aisle like a well groomed southern lady ;)

ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh so hard when I first saw it. Like seriously, Come on! The older gentleman's face on the right pretty much sums it up.
ReplyDeleteStupid people.
ReplyDeleteFunny
ReplyDeleteI think the proper term for this is natural selection.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a wedding gown used as a travois before.
ReplyDeleteWhy?
ReplyDeleteAh, come on you miserable lot it was done with the best of intentions, You know, including baby in her parents' wedding and all. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteI read she wanted the baby to walk down the aisle with her. A nice sentiment however the execution was a bit tacky.
DeleteThis is ghetto non fabulous

ReplyDeleteBeyond words, using a baby as an accessory. This has to be a future episode of Bridezilla's.
ReplyDeleteNo no my bad. More like Kenya Moore-Whore after her adoption process and she finally lands a man!

ReplyDeleteIt's ok and not a faux pas as long as the wedding dress was off white...
ReplyDeleteAnd thus began a life of riding along on someone else's coattail to get ahead in life...

DeleteI wanna ride my skate.
I wanna stay out late.
I wanna mohawk but mom won't let me get one.
@rowdy
DeleteHA!
Most people just decorate a wagon....
ReplyDeleteTacky as can be but whatever floats her boat.
ReplyDeleteThe baby wasn't in danger, I don't think so whatever
Wrong on so many counts...still made me laugh. (Not without guilt. Poor baby.)
ReplyDelete"A bride in Tenn..." That's all I needed to read. Explained everything.
ReplyDeleteI bet K-Krap and GayFish are jealous that they didn't think of this first.
ReplyDeleteGHETTO
ReplyDeleteCPS needs to visit this family. Just because you gave birth doesn't make you a mother.
ReplyDeleteShit like this makes me ashamed to be from Tennessee. We aren't all like this!!
ReplyDeleteIknowright?? My first thought when I saw this was please don't be from Tennessee. Half my family from there.
DeleteMakes no sense.
ReplyDeleteThe bride's cousin said the baby wasn't dragged, just placed on the dress for a photo. (Um... ok...)

She sounds like a sweetheart!
DeleteWell. I'm converted.
DeleteI need a translation.

ReplyDeleteThe woman is an idiot
ReplyDeleteWen is spot on! Tennesse Ghetto!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that baby even has a fighting chance. Someone might as well go ahead and put a bullet in its head right now.
ReplyDeleteThat poor baby is in for a hell of a life with that for a parent.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't she just carry the poor baby? Dragging it on the ground is so ridiculous. Love her later comments too. Keep it classy, Tennessee.
ReplyDelete^5 Keep it Klassy Tennessee! !
DeleteHope she didnt hit any speedbumps along the way......no?

ReplyDeleteDear God I Already Want One!
DeleteIt's safety issue. The bride could fall backwards, the baby could get caught in the veil, uncle Irv could pass out, etc. Unlikely anything would happen, but a bad idea overall. One that got blown out of proportion.
ReplyDeleteKimye are kicking themselves for not coming up with this idea first.
ReplyDeleteI hate the hating on TN. It's a great state. I will admit I busted out laughing at this pic and story though. There are stupid people in every state.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! @saintsfan btw I'm from Tennessee and a saints fan :)
DeleteI'm born and raised in California but I fell in love with Nashville during a 3-day visit. I really wish I'd gotten the job I was up for and could have moved there. There were so many people walking around, the downtown vibe was incredible and everyone was super friendly.

@riven sit at the beach and wear a surgical mask and see if it makes anyone react any differently.
Delete@Sugarbread That's just the greatest idea of all time and I might have to do it. Imagine if I ask others to do the same and sit spread out sporadically down the beach.
DeleteThis is what the Darwin Awards were created for.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, Courtney! Great state, great team :)
ReplyDeleteI think it was incredibly tacky, but not necessarily reckless. Supposedly the baby was strapped in safely. Not all that different from a baby backpack or baby bjorn. Just waaaaaay tacky.
ReplyDeleteOne month old babies hardly have any neck control. This was so tacky and dangerous. Fucking idiots.
ReplyDeleteI have visions of when people don't realize they've shut their car door on their coats or dresses.......
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm ashamed that even crossed my mind. Thanks, National Lampoon
Dangerous and stupid and tacky. And the things the couple posted on face book are inane, ungrammatical and just plain ignorant. Pair of first class idiots. Im horrifed at how dumb they are.
ReplyDeleteone month old...this family definitely needs a CPS visit like someone else said and some parenting classes
ReplyDeleteSorry, but it's nothing like having a baby in a Baby Bjorn.
ReplyDeletePoor baby is lying what looks to be very uncomfortably on her side.
She is a weirdo...
ReplyDelete@Seven, OMFG!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about her response.
I had to scroll up and reread it again..
" Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train." that is my favorite little gem.
Anyone else excited for next season Tosh.0 I can't wait to see the breakdown on this!!!
Are we sure this wasn't in Florida?
ReplyDeleteJoElla, I LOVE Tosh!! You're right. He will do a JOB on this one!!
ReplyDeleteThis woman is a fucking idiot. Why didn't she just carry the baby....natural selection is exactly right. I can't believe how dumb some people are.
ReplyDeleteasinine
ReplyDeleteUmm..what in the actual fuckety-fuck?
ReplyDeleteThis woman is a prize turd.
It would have made more sense to have the baby in a basket pulled in a little red Wagon painted white. But that might have required thought
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't she carry her FFS?
ReplyDelete@aoife.. who's going to carry the bouquet??
ReplyDeleteyou can't strap the bouquet to the train.. that would be soooo weird???
iknowright!!!!!
Come on, with a mother as stupid as this one, the kid would be better off if she tripped on her heels and crushed it.
ReplyDeleteHey hey hey...bash Ripley, TN, maybe, but not the whole damn state. I got a hell of an education in TN in the eighties, believe it or not, and I also knew plenty of intelligent people who were born and raised there.

Through her spokespeople Wang denied it was her design.
