Reports that he not only went into his car around noon, but also did a google search on how long it would take an animal to die in a hot car.... Nope, nope, nope, GUILTY of murdering that kid.
Guilty. I read yesterday that they found on his PC, just days prior, he had researched how long it takes for an animal to die in a hot car. AND that he had gone to his car on his lunch break also. Guilty as hell. And that's where he's goin. Soon! Prison will see to that.
Execute him the same way, locked in a car and suffering until he dies.
I leave my kid in the car at times. Run in to pay for gas, check the PO Box, grab a pack of smokes. Generally if it is going to take me longer to get him out and back into the car than it is going to take me in the store/post office. I can't wait until he is 8 and I can chuck the booster seat.
That Georgia boy researched death by hypothermia prior to the "accident". He went to his car during lunch to put something in the seat. There is a statement that the child car seat is placed so that the back is facing the driver seat _/(_ so he Could not notice since he could not see the child.. Yet WHILE HE WAS DRIVING, he noticed? Even the rear view wouldn't see around the basket. Jail is too good for him.
They also stopped at chick fil a to get breakfast on the way to the dads job. I read that yesterday and thought to myself "seriously. You stop and get breakfast and then magically forget your kid in the 1-2 min drive to work??" I'm no genius and I'm as forgetful as they come but come on now. My big question now is: WHY??? Why would you do that to a poor innocent child? What's your reasoning?
It's Court, wasn't the breakfast stopping Dad the other one? I thought he was the guy who worked at Hone Depot. IDK If so, I'm thinking the breakfast stopping dad seems more innocent...so far.
The breakfast stopping Home Depot dad is the one who left his kid all day, came out to the car during lunch, googled the time it takes for an animal to die in a hot car, left work that evening and then broke down asking people to help his child. @sincerely. Sadly there are apparently 2 separate incidents but the Home Depot/chick fil a/jackass dad is the one I'm referring to. The one in Georgia.
@sincerely hopefully!! I'll admit I went back and read the story to make sure I hadn't crossed my wires. Sure enough, I'd actually remembered correctly. Sickening.
Guilty - even if he couldn't see the kid in the carseat when he went out at lunchtime to "put something in the front seat" I would think the smell of a dirty diaper in that heat would have been overwhelming. Even if he didn't notice it at lunchtime, the smell when he went out at the end of the day would have knocked him over if he wasn't expecting it. And it was his job to drop the kid off every morning to daycare. If he's smart he'll plead out and won't face a jury.
Guilty...it's a known and frequently discussed topic, especially in hot weather climates. It's not like the guy didn't know. He's an irresponsible jerk off.
Well, the whole history of Googling "animals suffocating in cars" that was found on his personal computer's hard drive doesn't look good. Not exactly the typical search now is it?
Let's just hope a smart, logical thinking jury is selected if this goes to trial; if there is enough evidence to prove that he IS guilty, America doesn't need another Casey Anthony situation on our collective conscious. That woman, without a doubt should have gotten LIFE.
Guilty all the way - that is, the guy who did the Google search, etc.
I read a very powerful article about this phenomenon from the Washington Post last week - gave me so much anxiety I forwarded it to my sister as a reminder to be extra mindful when she's driving with my nephew.
I cannot even imagine how someone could knowingly do this to a child.
Guilty as hell. Open and shut. He also got in his car, drove where there were people, and then jumped out screaming , oh my baby is choking! Then peoplr noticed baby already blue, and father alternated btwn ober the top hysteria, and placidness. Bystanders immediately noticed he was acting off, so that tells u something.
Please read this Pulitzer prize winning article in the Washington Post back in 2009 and then tell me you think that parents who accidently leave their children in hots cars are guilty. This article will break your heart.
Seriously, how the f do you forget your kid in the car?? I'm not a parent but if I took one of my cats with me in the car, I wouldn't forget it there, much less a kid! I don't buy it at all, and if he really did forget, he should go to jail anyway for gross negligence.
Guilty. I honestly don't know how you can do this, especially now when everyone has a phone with them at all times (most people, anyway). Wouldn't you get a call from the day care asking where your child is? Doesn't make sense to me that the provider wouldn't check in (then again, I don't have kids, so I have no idea how day cares operate).
Count Jerkula are you just yanking people's chains or do you really do that? What if you get arrested for making lewd comments on the street and cops won't believe you have a kid in the car? Shit happens. Don't chance it.
Anyone who does this under ANY circumstances ("Oh - I forgot he was there!") is GUILTY and should be thrown in jail for the rest of his/her life. Utter bastards.
@Trashaddict: yeah, I do it. Half the time he wants to stay in the car anyway, so he can play games or watch videos on my phone.
Closest I get to lewd comments when I'm with my kid is one time a hottie register girl said he's cute and I replied, "Yes he is. I think I remember how to make one, if you want me to show you some time." Luckily she started laughing before I did, so no police were called.
Guilty. Of leaving his kid in a car.
ReplyDeleteWhich guy? This happens to more parents accidentally than you'd think. So sad. :(
ReplyDeleteThere's 2 of these guys:
ReplyDeleteThe guy in Rockledge Florida probably not guilty
The guy in Atlanta guilty
Reports that he not only went into his car around noon, but also did a google search on how long it would take an animal to die in a hot car.... Nope, nope, nope, GUILTY of murdering that kid.

This is still America ... Innocent until proven Guilty. Not great for 24 hour news channels but it works for me.

ReplyDeleteThe one who googled how long to leave an animal in a hot car until it dies, and then left his child in a hot car
ReplyDeleteGuilty.
Pass.
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of being too passionate-and sickened by all this(new mom, also as a HUMAN BEING)
Pass.
Guilty
ReplyDeletePersonal responsibility y'all
*lalalalalalalalalala....*
ReplyDelete:( RIP sweet babies.
Guility
ReplyDeleteHe googled how long does it take for an animal to die in a hot car, so yeah. Guilty. It's just sad because the child suffered so much before he died.
ReplyDeleteGuilty; no excuse for that. Especially with all the time spent by the news devoted to NOT leaving children and pets in cars on warm/hot days.
ReplyDeleteI live in the desert and can't stand when my house gets above 80f. This guy is guilty as hell. Which is where I hope he rots for killing his kid.
ReplyDeleteExecute him the same way, locked in a car and suffering until he dies.

Guy who's in jail, def belongs there.

DeleteOhhhh. Got it thanks. I had no idea he stopped for breakfast too- there's another nail in his coffin. Hopefully!

ReplyDeleteI don't even make my dogs stay in the backyard for too long during the summer here. 1 of my dogs views going outside as a treat.
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't see how a parent could do that to their child. It boggles my mind.
if he's not guilty...I hope he has a damn good explanation, because things don't look real good right now.
ReplyDeleteIs this really up for debate? Guilty.
ReplyDeleteGuilty...it's a known and frequently discussed topic, especially in hot weather climates. It's not like the guy didn't know. He's an irresponsible jerk off.

Guilty of first degree murder due to his websearches, showing planning and deliberation, malice aforethought.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad storey either way but it's very fishy that he was goggling stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteGuilty.. Its all over him.

Guilty, and they should lock his ass in a hot car for a month. Then bury the car.
ReplyDeleteGuilty as hell. He went back to the car at lunch to put something in the car. Send his fat ass to prison.

ReplyDeleteWhy, along with school shootings, does this seem primarily to occur in the US?
ReplyDeleteThe Google dad is guilty.
ReplyDeleteI really feel for the other dad. He's ultimately responsible but to be fair he did not normally have his child in the mornings or do the drop off.

Throw the book. Who forgets their loved one is waiting in the car???
Has anyone figured out what happened to the boy found stuffed in the basement of his dad's house? ??
ReplyDeleteCompletely different story
