All of them! But 'Thriller" for one particular memory that it holds. My friends and I were all dressed up for a Halloween party at the 1234 club in Montreal, when they announced that the club will be the first one in N.A. to play the video "Thriller" for us. So, thinking it was a regular music video, we're all standing on the dance floor watching it on a screen and comfortingly swaying to the music, when all of sudden MJ transforms into the werewolf. The whole club started screaming and jumping away from the big screen! It took us a while to calm down after that!
I also remember waiting all night to get tickets for the BAD tour.
Funny, just last night I saw a neat video of a dance group in Stockholm. They did a tribute flash mob style. One in a public square, another in a train station. The public danced along, they knew all the moves! (Or they danced like they thought they knew all the moves) Pretty cool stuff.
I switch the station whenever a song of his comes on the radio. He was a pedophile child molester who got away with it because of who he was. His music makes me sick as a result.
Have you ever watched a Polanski or Allen movie. I'm 100% sure Hollywood is full of dudes like him. The man was sick. The art, at least in my opinion, is a separate issue.
MJ's pop wasn't really my kind of music, and I deliberately chose to not support such a horrible human being. That said, I absolutely love very parody Weird Al did of his songs, and Alien Ant Farm's version of "Smooth Criminal".
Today's the anniversary isn't it?
