Ruby Dee Has Died
Ruby Dee, an acclaimed actor and civil rights activist whose versatile career spanned stage, radio television and film, has died. Her long career brought her an Oscar nomination at age 83 for best supporting actress for her role in the 2007 film "American Gangster." She also won an Emmy and was nominated for several others. She was 91.
That's too bad. She was a wonderful actress.

ReplyDeleteI had the same thought. Met them twice, they were lovely. Ossie died the day before my mom & we didn't tell her & I was so glad we didn't because she would have been heartbroken.
