I know a couple of 18-year-old boys who biked across America. They were ROTC guys and in amazing shape. They eventually made it, but there were some VERY tough days. I don't think most people realize exactly how big this country is, nor do they understand how high the Rockies really are. But, hey, good for Pippa for giving it a shot!
