DeleteThe dove flew onto my workbench in my garage. She was pecking at my bottle water so I offered her a capful. She then hopped on my shoulder for 10-12min of selfies & chatting with neighbor. It was right after Mom's day so I gotta think she was dropping down to see how I am doing.

Delete1) Another CDANer knows your IRL identity and accessed the original from one of your social media accounts
2) You have an IRL friend who knows you're on here and sent it in
3) Enty knows who you are and is fucking with both of you
4) A CDaNer has the ability to do an image-based internet search to find a match between your cropped version and find the original online
5) Sandy actually DID send it after a long night of drank
6) Blame RDJ
7) OR....who else has got a theory?

DeleteSorry for the delete above, it was a duplicate of the post to Wiglet, if anyone actually cares. Sandy also said numerous times that he would NOT be sending in a photo, which is why he put a pic temporarily in his profile. I think it's pretty fucking obvious that this was someone else, and I have a hard time accepting ignorance on Enty's end.

DeleteSaving a photo for a personalized dart board is one thing, sending in the photo Sandy posted would have been "HaHa, gotcha", but sending Enty the uncropped photo crossed a line.
DeletePlus WEIRD. Really. Sending in a photo of a celebrity is harmless, and I bet most get pulled, but sandy was totally clear that his photo was on limited offer. So not really a joke then.

ReplyDeleteI dont know--there is a small possibility one of the ppl in my photo recognized it and sent it in. There are ppl in it who live in Virginia and Maryland region and we have a lot of commenters from up there. Very small but possible.

Although it is kinda scary that this can be done and was, I have taken some more precautions to protect my social media sites and secure them and so should everyone else here. The interwebs are dangerous y 'all.

I teach a 17 year old girl with severe impairments, both physical and cognitive. However, as an individual she is close to a typical teenager in terms of interests and moods. Yeah, she can throw some attitude - and I love it! My student loves dolphins, so one afternoon about 3 weeks ago I played the Rush Hour video. She was entranced by the images of you swimming with those gorgeous creatures and also bopping to the beat in her wheelchair. Totally made both our days. So Ms. Jane, I wanted to say thanks for the music and positivity.
