Off Topic

Might make my annual beach visit this weekend. It takes me about a year to finally get all the sand out of me before I am ready to go again.

  3. We live 1 minutes walk from the beach. But it's raining today. Miserable. Amazing when the sun shines though.

    5. They call the water Hampton roads and thats boring so I call it the sound , eh. I'm in virginia but I'm 20 minutes from N. Carolina.
      Nags Head is about 3 or so hours away.

  5. I've spent so much time at the beach, live and play, I kind of got over it. Is there such a thing? I now mostly only for the ride on my Betty Bike.

    If there's a lake or river run, I'm there.

  10. Last time I was on a beach it was in Nags Head about 15 years ago. Well, aside from hopping over a dune and smoking a doobie in Ocean City, MD one night.

  13. I adore the beach despite being a secret ginger. I love that I live so close to it now !!! I just have to bathe in sunscreen first and remember bring a hat.

  27. My nearest "beach" is an indoor monstrosity that I've never actually been in. I've heard too many sewer back up stories about it.
    We have a few lakes within a couple hours drive, but the thought of bringing me youngest there terrifies me.
